My point was that every single guy on your list has, I believe, not only considerably more games under their belts, but several offseasons as incumbent starters as well. That should not be ignored as a factor ... particularly so given the clear progress Kirk has made over the course of this season.
This is the point that Smoot continues to ignore. A 97.2 QB rating for a QB in his full year as a starter is pretty darn good, especially considering he was not the starter for training camp or pre-season. Aaron Rogers spent his first 3 seasons as a back up, like Cousins, and his first year numbers were very similar to Cousins' numbers this season. Rogers ended up with a 93.8 rating that season. I'm not saying Cousins is as good as Rogers, but Cousins play right now is definitely top 10 compared to the rest of the league right now.
