So far, he's everything Forbath was, and then some. That's saying something - Forbath was a pretty damn good kicker (setting aside kickoffs). Looks like a stroke of genius so far.

Forbath hasn't caught on to another team, though there are teams out there looking for Kickers... Since the Eagles would've won the game with a Kicker who could kick a 40 yarder and an extra point... Forbath probably would've won the game for them.

Anyway... Forbath isn't even in the same league as Hopkins, both literally and figuratively... Did you see Hopkins kickoff that landed in the 5th row? I think Jay Gruden needs to realize he doesn't have Forbath out there anymore and he should've put Hopkins out there for that 53-yarder in the 4th quarter.

Early thoughts on Atlanta ... to hang, we're probably going to need two things to go right this week:


- Culliver's knee improves dramatically
- Jordan Reed's brain is on line

Need Morris & Jones to have big games... Would help if Lauvau were out there, since the running game hasn't been the same with him not there. The game plan here needs to be the same employed against the Patriots... Ground them to dust and keep the offense off the field & the defense fresh.

Ball security.
Run the ball well on offense.
Stop the run on defense.
Play solid special teams.

Do that, and we can hang with anyone.

Any actual/perceived deep rooted flaws Kirk has, will be shared with Atlanta's fine defensive head coach.
And, if there are any, as there surely are/were, Kyle Shanahan knows them.

Another big test for Kirk.

I am one who always believes that the push up front by the DL decides how hard the secondary has to work. If we get a good push, knock down, rattle, whatever to Ryan our corners won't have to worry about long plays developing or getting burned constantly.

They will get a few in though...every team does on everyone.

I find the whole hype around the Dolphins insane to begin with. "Tannehill is so much better than Griffin and he was available" "Suh is going to make that defense the best in the league"

They're literally done nothing outside of that punt return against us. And if hanging your hat of succeeding depends on beating a team in the middle of a rebuild.....you need more help than I can give ya

our secondary has problems even with the starters all healthy. in fcat, I wouldn't be surprised if we go CB or Safety in the first round...assuming we are too deep to go QB.

did you see that stat yesterday of their sacks and total tackles? That was just downright pitiful. He really has become the new Haynesworthless....on top of it, his attitude is doing him NO justice. That interview he did was sad.

People should just know that if they are going to sign a player to big money he is going to most likely become a total d-bag.
