Biggest lie of the day - Chris Ivory Active

I had him in 3 of my 4 leagues. What a joke. They say he is active, but then he doesn't even play.
He's on my roster too. In spite of him being active I had a gut feeling he wouldn't play much so I switched to Powell at the last minute. Unfortunately I dropped CJ2K out of my starting lineup to do it. Probably the last good game he's got left in him too. :-/ Oh well, at least it didn't cost me the win.

I'd like to take a second to give a special shout-out and thanks to Bob this weekend for his 151 point performance. That crushed my 134 points.

Curiously enough, that 151 points was the exact score that Boone put up on me last weekend. Boone, now I know how you felt a few years ago.

The good news? BB, you're on deck next!!! Lol. Congratulations.

I'll never understand the concept of negative points for a defense. Trying to recall a time when a team on the field had "minus ...insert number... points". Weird.

Interesting week. Bah.

Not that I did anything special. If I were really smart I would have put Chris Johnson in for Lynch (who has done little this season) and gone for over 180.

This game is a head scratcher, even when you win. And DFS even more so than the season long stuff.

Damn Ax, you almost got me with that Rodgers Rally on Monday night. I'm glad I had such a big lead by then....Your boy made it seem pretty small.

Do you love it? Fairly easy to make consistent money on?

No. How about 2 TDs for Travis Kelce instead?
I haven't lost my shirt yet. :)

It's a different animal from a season long thing where you have most of the same guys. Depending on the type of game (GPP, 50/50, Multiplier, etc) you could find youself avoiding many of the big names that get you through the season.

I'm not rolling in money but I'm not playing anything serious yet either. Most of the games I have gotten into have anywhere from a $1 to $10 entry fee. Figure to keep it small till I figure it out.

Well Boone, I hope you're ready to lose 2 of your leagues this week. I can send you a box of tissues if you need them, just let me know.

Well, I've got Brady and Gronk on a bye in one league, and Brady on a bye in another, so it'll be a steeper climb this week.

Everybody seems to be very content with their rosters. Not a single trade has come up yet. I wonder if that will change?

obviously you havent seen how many 'moves' I've made lol

Oh, waivers are always pretty crazy. But nobody is coveting anything somebody else has.

eff Forsett. Played him 3 weeks in a row & he never broke 9 points. Pretty obvious to sit him against the Steelers I thought.

Now I really know why they are called, Ratturds. Or ratbirds...whatever...

Ax sat him too of it makes you feel better. It happens to all of us pretty much every week.

Yeah that's why I liked his post.

But....................it's all part of my strategery.

I got a 3rd string runner that my neighbor's girlfriend's dog assures me will get 1700 points this week.

Beware, bitches!

Honestly, if you have a good team with a lot of depth, this is going to happen to you more often than not. If you have to choose between two players every week, you will make the wrong choice a lot of times. While this sucks, it's better than having to play the 3WR or the 3rd down back every week because you have no other options.

Yeah, I know everybody gets whacked once in awhile. Just needed to vent - get a shoulder to cry on...

I knew Antonio Brown would take a hit, but 3 points from him just hurts. Boone is the bane of my existence in fantasy. grrrrrrr

It's obviously still very early in the season. But most of that first round has been hit-or-miss so far. You can go right down the line.

AD..first game was awful
Bell.....suspension
Lacy.....big disappointment to date.

etc.....

Come to think of it.....the first round RBs last year were pretty bad too.

If you want to see how crazy it's been, look at the list of the 20 top RBs in terms of points this season.

Or look at the top 10 QBs.
