Random Commanders Thoughts

Well, the team that has the ball last is supposed to win the game. In this day and age in the NFL. I do take a lot of consoloation in the fact we had a chance to win. Far cry from last year.

What I don't like is that we used to always find a new way to lose. Only last week, I've seen that losing act before, that's the troubling part, but a part that coaching is supposed to fix.

Not to be a total downer, but have you guys seen the Wade Phillips run defense in Denver?

They are 2-0 off INT returns for TD's in consecutive weeks.

I am willing to give Barry the benefit of the doubt, the defense looked good last week against a decent offense. But damn I wish they'd hired Wade!

Not to be totally silly but,

Peyton Manning passed for about 50 more yards than Kirk Cousins did against the Dolphins, but he needed 14 more pass attempts to get there. Denver could not run the ball, rushing for just 61 yards on 22 carries, less than half of the 125 yards that Alfred Morris posted alone.

:devilish:

Haha! You'll notice, I made no mention of the decline of Peyton Manning.

The goats are gonna come in cocky after beating the hags. While the skins have had a week to gnaw on their loss.

We're gonna win!!!

To me, it's a case of the more the team change, the more it stays the same. I used to look forward to knwing that Monday was a lost day. Now, I'd rather be in bed asleep as I know that when I wake up and read the scores, it is more likely we have lost than we have won. We have to start winning on a regular basis before I start sitting through 3am kick-offs again.

However, with that, this morning we get the 49ers at Pittsburgh, Cowboys at Eagles and Seahawks at Packers games on TV. A majority of Aussies will get to see 'The Hayne Train' in action for the first time.

There's nothing silly about that. Here's hoping that we can keep that level of intensity up.

Boone, Om and everyone else at the game......you guys were a great luck charm against San Diego.

Work that magic again please!

The way Jeff Fisher tried to embarrass the Redskins by bringing out all those players from his picks for the coin toss last year, the Redskins coaches and front office may want this game even more than a division win against Dallas or Philly.

The season definitely looks different at 1-1 vs. 0-2.

Read that Ryan Grant is starting in Jackson's spot. Wonder if Ross gets any action with the offense today or are they going to limit him to teams?

Reading on twitter that Hopkins is killing fgs from beyond 50 yds plus in warm ups. Wouldn't that be something to see in a game?

Hopkins wearing #3. Bit of nostalgia on the field to see that number.

The fact he was cut in New Orleans to make room for Zach Hocker is just beyond ironic.

Haha, **** Fisher and is arrogant ass, late hitting team. Wish Gruden woulda tried for the end zone instead of kneeling.

Oh yeah and **** NFLN too! 30 minutes and ONLY highlight is Jones fumble and goats td pass.
