Yeah, I should clarify. What I meant was that I don't see it impossible that someone on staff or in the FO blabbed some off the cuff, stupid meaningless comment to Schefty who then took it and ran with it. Don't know and don't care about the drinking aspect. I mean, I guess it's possible Schefter just fabricated the entire thing from scratch, but seems a little unlikely to me. Tr!'s scenario that someone in a moment of frustration said something stupid that got blown out of proportion seems like a possibility to me.

I mean, let's face it. It's not like we haven't had a terrible FO structure with leaks before, right? It's gonna take McGlue more than a few months to clean this shitstorm up. I hope he brought his big-boy pants.

Theoretically, that's great.

The reality is we just lost 2 or 3 of our best ST players for the year. It's probably impossible to replace them this season.

I'm great with the 20 yard line. Most NFL fans would kill for the 20 yard line.

It's the constant kicking out of bounds that kills us.

And ST's haven't been very good WITH the guys we lost. Who's to say the new guys can't be better?

Anytime you lose 2 or 3 of your top guys out of 11 you are going to have problems.

If that doesn't happen, the odds are extremely high that they're shanked out of bounds.

It's not acceptable on good teams.
