Ryan grant on the bubble and not andre roberts? Really?!!

Here's the source that stated "Grant is on the bubble"
Doesn't make any sense at all. In fact, the title is totally misleading, if not, clearly false.

On the same article, they have a depth chart, that has him as DJ's backup.
Then the article goes on to give multiple reasons why he makes the team, and little or nothing to support that he won't.

Finally, I don't see Grant being on the bubble makes sense, numbers-wise.
He would either have to have dropped multiple notches on the depth chart, or we'd be keeping very few receivers on the final roster.
There's DJ, Garcon, Crowder, Roberts......that's 4......Matter of fact, their very own depth chart had Grant in the TOP 4, actually ahead of Crowder. And even if Crowder moves ahead of Grant, surely we keep more than 4 receivers. So if it's 5, who else could it be other than Grant ? They believe Spencer takes Grant's spot ? Then there's the possibility we keep 6.

It's almost as if they don't know what "bubble" means, or they think it means the opposite of what it really does, because that article goes on to be very PRO-Grant. And mostly an author's opinion and little or no facts to even back it up.
Is this even a professional article, or a fan blog ?

Not to mention, Gruden has been enthusiastically raving about Grant's recent TC play

Redskins Wide Receivers on the Bubble: Ryan Grant - Hogs Haven

So, currently I see no reliable information yet to suggest Grant is actually on the bubble

Hog's Haven is not above trolling for clicks guys. They do a good job, but I frequently see them with the misleading article title.

They did the same thing with Crowder, discussing the pros and cons of each player's situation and predicting the chances of making the team.

To me, anyone on the bubble is not yet part of the 'established productive player in their prime' group. Which is what, four or five currently on this team?

Not being on the bubble, I guess, could also mean 'uncuttable' due to contract/cap, trade cost, and potential... but that's another discussion altogether.

I think Callahan is off to a helluva start remaking this line. Couple years with this cat and we're gonna make some noise.

The Giants are welcome to Aldon Smith. Smith appears totally out of control off the field. A danger to himself and everyone around him.

Funny, though, the Giants usually stay away from guys like this.

Would not surprise me to see Smith end up in Oakland or Buffalo.

Well, he's going to miss at least 4-6 games. So, it a vet minimum prorated deal wherever he goes.

I ran down the 49ers roster going into camp this year and the talent outflow from this organization starting with Jim Harbaugh and going to the players is really amazing.

The team that was in the Super Bowl a couple of years ago has due to free agency, trades, retirements, injuries been almost completely deconstructed.

Tomsula was a strange choice as head coach.

But then again who was going to take over the team with Jed York over-ruling the GM on personnel decisions?

It's a mess in SF.

Their only other option has nine fingers and still hasn't signed his franchise deal for some reason.

I believe his agent is still trying to angle for a long term deal. Driving home from SC last week I was listening to a lot of NFL radio and (at least at that point) JPP hadn't even talked to the Giants, and his agent refused to talk to them about anything other then contract extension.... wonder if the injury could potentially void the tag and they don't want the Giants to know the extent of the damage.

JPP has refused every attempted they've made to examine his hand, if I remember correctly. All I know is that pic of him leaving the hospital with a bowling ball-sized wrap on it didn't look promising for them... but **** Mara and the horse he rode in on, anyway. I know they rescinded the long-term deal they did offer. His agent has zero ground right now.

yeah and the worst thing in the world is for him to try to play out this franchise tagged season. I'm sure he can still be effective despite the damage, but there will HAVE to be a setback, not to mention rehabbing and compensating. At this point... he's screwed himself out of A LOT of potential money.

You heard it here first. Callahan is here for the head coaching job. He went to Dallas for the same thing, only they had no interest in releasing Garrett, especially now that they drafted 5 pro bowlers and Callahan made them the best line in the NFL. Callahan was the OC and called plays, but the circus that is Jerry Jones turned Callahan off and now he is with Redskins.

Gruden is one of the most vulnerable coaches in the league.

His team didn't play disciplined ball last year, he went out of his way to criticize the qb he was brought in to help, and now is being evaluated by a new GM that doesn't owe him any loyalty.

Callahan made a smart move if that's the case.

This Friday @1am, Sunday @10am or Next Thursday @1pm.
That's my choices to watch the NFLN replay of the Skins-Browns game.

I don't have a DVR or highspeed internet on this GD boat so I guess I'll be up late on Thursday.
