No issues? Really? I'd say that lawsuit they're having to settle and new protocol they've instilled says different. The nfl will never be a smaller picture. It's a billion dollar a year industry.

not for 4-5 decades! it's documented they had knowledge and actively discounted the fact. your last sentence is exactly right......which explains a lot the hypocrisy.

So you're saying he would have torn his ACL if we drafted him, or no matter what team drafted him ?
Practice plays and circumstances would have been entirely different, had he been with us.
Injuries occur essentially when a "perfect storm" of factors come together, and the chance of that being exactly duplicated in a Redskins' practice would have been virtually zero chance

Or, he already had a slight tear and was a play or two away from tearing it completely.
 
Well it all depends on the play.
A player gets stuck in traffic, or in a pile, and his knee twists in a grotesque way that it wasn't meant to twist, and that will injure any player, whether he has a weak knee or not.
 
Lineman he went against has no idea what happened and says there was no real incident.

Minimal contact don't even know if he was tackled or not. Almost like Boone said had a slight year that was undetected

A player could have minimal contact with another player, resulting in injury, but still not have it as a result of a weak or slightly torn ligament.
If a player plants his foot the wrong way, or lunges the wrong way, or some other freak incident, he can injure himself. But that doesn't mean there was a pre-existing condition. It can actually be 'self-inflicted', in a way. I have seen the video of the injury, and it looks like it's very possible he just landed on it wrong, and in a way, that would have injured a lot of players, had they done the same thing.

I'm just saying not every injury is the result of a previous physical flaw in a player's body, and we shouldn't jump the gun and assume that every time. It seems like a lot of people are assuming that that is the case with Fowler, when there's no evidence that's been revealed. to suggest that. If the tear is "undetected" as you say, then it's an assumption to say it's pre-existing, since by definition, "un-detected" means there was never any evidence to begin with.
 
Fear - everyone understands that. You said that it wouldn't have happened if we had drafted him. I just gave the previous injury example as a possibility because if that is what occurred, it would've happened no matter who drafted him.

I think the fact that this happened so early on, without a clear traumatic contact play involved makes it likely there was already an existing problem. But saying 'it wouldn't have happened' had we drafted him - no one can say that with certainty. It very well may have happened, no matter who drafted him.

Just watched a football life where the feature was Jennifer Allen covering the "feersome foursome". She did a good job on it, wonder if the Bruce has ever tried to get her on staff?
