Random Commanders Thoughts

It is good to see that DeAngelo Unshaved restructured his contract. That really helps the team. He is in Indianapolis today to help the Redskins evaluate DB talent. Good on him.

If DA goes to one of the safety spots it's all the better. Isn't FS generally tougher to fill than CB? Seems it'd be easier to put him & Deangelo back there and draft Breeland's opposite.

Free Agency starts in less than 2 weeks.

While we may not be huge players this year, it will be interesting to see what improvements McLovin can make.

We always talk about guys moving from one position to another - but when's the last time the team actually made that kind of a change?

Had the same thought, Boone.

I think Rod Woodson changed the landscape on perception about how easily/effectively a corner not only converts to safety, but becomes a good one. Particularly if the move is age-related.

Hard for me to envision the Hall I know roaming sideline to sideline, ball-hawking and providing a sure-tackling last line of defense.

The ONLY player I can recall our team switching is Lorenzo, & that was minimal. Idk, to me it seems like a higher reward finding a player already on the team vs our cluster at the safety positions.

There's zero guarantee Amerson or even Deangelo could lock down a safety position but to me it would be minimal risk/high reward if they can. Hell teams like the pats & Texans switch O & D players and make it work.

Hall knows this is his last stop in the NFL. Does he like playing close to home and all that, yeah, but bottom line for 32 year old corner coming off 2 surgeries is that he now needs the team more than we need him.

Has anyone seen the rumor were in the trade market for AP?

I read that, but I don't believe much that comes from JLC.

AD is 30 years old! Why would we want a 30 year old RB?

I was also shocked to learn that Alfred Morris is already 27! How is that freaking possible?

If we replace Morris for any reason, I hope it's with a 22 or 23 year old.

That rumor might just be an agent using our name to drive up his price.

I've seen lots of comments on line supporting swapping Alf for ap. I really can't understand that mindset knowing the stats Alf put up despite the line issues. The grass isn't always greener if we neglected lawn maintenance all throughout.

What's really sad is how many players are broke not long after leaving the pro game....

not when you hear them speak. You can realize the "education" they're getting is bogus and they're pushed thru because they can ball.
