This is sorely needed. Who should we go after?

I can only give you a couple of names but take your pick. We could use help everywhere except LT. I'd like to see an early trade down and some draft day magic from our new GM as we aren't one player away. Lots of Florida State guys on this short list.....

Here are some Tackles that have been projected to go early:
Brandon Scherff - Iowa
Andrus Peat - Stanford
La'el Collins - LSU
T.J. Clemmings - Pittsburgh
Cedric Ogbuehi - Texas A&M
Ereck Flowers - Miami
Ronnie Stanley - Notre Dame

Some Guards:
A.J. Cann - South Carolina
Josue Matias - Florida State
Arie Kouandjio - Alabama
Tre' Jackson - Florida State

Some Centers:
Cameron Erving - Florida State - Very versatile. Played LT and C this season for them. Started his college career as a DT.
Reese Dismukes - Auburn
Hroniss Grasu - Oregon

Scherff, Stanley and Peat are all top 10 projections who are versatile...can play G or T. The ideal situation would be to see a team so smitten with Shane Ray, Amari Cooper or one of the 2 QB's who will almost certainly drop to the 5th overall pick and give us some extra picks to drop to 10-14 where on of those 3 will assuredly drop.

Gotta agree with fan on the value of the top 5 pick...I think it is too valuable to spend on an RT but 10-14 is a prime spot for such a need if we can get the trade. If not and one of the DT's are not available at 5...I would not be upset to see Shane Ray rushing opposite Kerrigan for the next 4 years...provided we stay in a 3-4.

Cleveland has 2 draft picks
hopefully if Amati cooper is there they pull the play

and I agree w/El that if we trade down then going o-line makes more sense relative to projected value.

No matter who they may draft for RT they probably need to get an FA also and those pickin's are slim. Bardsdale would be a good grab. If they do grab a FA then maybe the priority on a draft pick drops a bit to a quite not ready for prime time player.

Right now the starting RT is Compton and Moses may be a late start in camp due to injury. I don't know that the Skins would hang all of their hopes on a draft pick with the plan B option being Tom.

Yeah I saw that the other day. I thought he might be a guy the Skins would target this year and he will develop into a top Tackle one day.

This is the dream scenario. We will all be pinching ourselves if someone slips to our spot and we can make a deal to get more picks. Another team I thought of is Philly is Mariota slips. You don't think Chip would break the bank to move up?

I just hope we address the OL with first round talent. I really don't care how we go about it, but I just don't see Philthy trading us for the #5 pick in the draft...a divisional rival. Who knows? Maybe this could be our chance to get back at them for McCrapp!

I think DeSean is at least a partial payback on that one.

Maybe we could con them into taking Raheem off our hands.

mu guess is that Fangio and McG are holding some backdoor conversations as we speak: "...if I come there.....what talent are you going to provide IMMEDIATELY to make it worth my while?"
