Anyone have any experience with the Samsung 5 or Motorola Droid Turbo?

I'm on Verizon and about 2 and 1/2 years on my Motorola RAZR Maxx. When it started having performance problems last September, I rooted it and flashed Cyanogenmod. That helped for a while, but performance problems are starting to happen more frequently, so I'm considering upgrading. I hate to do it because I still have unlimited data and will lose that. In any event, if I upgrade I've been researching the Samsung 5 and more recently the Turbo and would love any feedback people have. The Turbo seems to be am overall better phone, but I know at the moment it can't be rooted or get an unlocked bootloader.

I have the Note II which I have had almost 2 years now. No problems! Great phone. Before that I had the 1st generation Samsung Galaxy phone and if I wasn't upgrading to a family plan, I probably would have continued to use it after almost 3 years of use.

LOL...true. No, I like Android so I can tinker if I want to.

Thanks for the feedback. After stopping in the Verizon store today, I'm leaning towards the Turbo. It's nice too, that I can get both of them cheaper at Costco. I lose unlimited data, but I can get 6GB now or unlimited phone/text with 2GB. Either one would work for me.
