If the Redskins leave then that's it for me. I don't think I would ever be a fan of any team like I am now. Hell I don't think I could even bring myself to root for another team at all. If they came back it wouldn't be the same and I would have no emotional attachment to them like I do now.

I would rather suck for eternity than lose the Redskins. Cause not only do we lose the team we lose the one bond that brings us all here.

SC I hear ya but as a fellow Ohio resident I think you can relate or at least see how that might change if you walked a mile in Browns fan shoes. I'm sure many Browns fans said that when they left, as well as many Cavs fans saying that about LeBron (that one in particular cracks me up, all the Jersey burners are front and center now with their new LBJ jerseys. ). For me the game changer would be a name change.

The difference is most Browns fans live in the Cleveland area, so when they came back to the same town it was easy for them to come back. Us living 6 hours from DC, I would not get sucked back in, I don't think...

I agree with you on the name change, if they change the name they better move the team cause the backlash will be unreal.
