5th Annual BGO Ballers Fantasy Football League

Hail to the Commissioner. I have to say I've enjoyed this year more than previous years, even thought the result will likely be about the same. It's nice not having every transaction attempt blocked :D

I nominate Shi as Commissioner for Life.

Running one league is hard enough. Two are insanely difficult. Well done, sir.:allhail:

Yep! Awesome job Shi!

While I appreciate the sentiment, I did screw up league #2 on the setup with the WR vs Flex slot. Hopefully I can make sure nothing goes wrong next year. I assumed I'd be doing it next year on virtue of the fact that nobody else wanted to this year... :p

Hopefully we can get as many people wanting to play again. It's nice having full leagues of 10-12.

Most standard leagues have a 'flex' spot BB where you can be plug on either a WR, RB, or a TE each week.

If you look at the teams I posted for the league one matchup, you will see that they have a W/R/T or flex spot, instead of a 3rd WR. This allows you to pick your last player from either a WR, a RB, or a TE. It's rather nice to have, as it makes your team capable of going with whatever you got (RBs are favored, but not necessarily always the easiest to get). I know at least Neo and I drafted with that in mind.

Just thinking - got something of a flex player in Denard Robinson. He has brought me some good points as a WR option and then I used him at RB this past week. Pretty sure I will have him back in the WR position this week. Nice to have that kind of option.

Why yes, yes it is. I remember the first year Marques Colston was around, they put him as a WR/TE. I don't think anybody put him as a WR, because he had such good output for what he could do as a TE.

Yes, you got the flex already. Now you see the benefits of a flex RB. Unless you have multiple stud WR or TE, the RB is usually the best option for a flex. That's good practice for you for next year.

I'll also add my kudos to Shi for running the leagues. I have no complaints about anything. Everything has been smooth all year.

Can someone tell me why I sat Alshon Jeffrey today?

I'm gonna go with you had more faith in a ratbird receiver. You better hope you're right!

I thought the Lions were gonna come out ready to play. It's the run defense that's so good, I shoulda paid more attention. That means Chicago will throw more.

I went back and forth 3 times on who to start at TE. I had a feeling that Jordan Reed would have a big day with Colt coming back - but he was questionable. I even picked up Paul to hedge my bet if he couldn't go. But at the last minute went with Witten. Damnit! Sometimes you outsmart yourself.

The TE position is the most maddening in FF
