Random Commanders Thoughts

I wouldn't wipe my ass with a WaPo edition. Not even worth bird cage poop catching IMO.

I still wanna smack Mara in the face with a possum.

Sweetie,

Do you really feel the majority of Redskins nation like and admire the Danny?

Serious question.
Serious answer. No, they don't.

But the majority aren't nonstop wind passing assholes about it, either.

So, Britt Henry just report on ESPN that some players weren't happy about RGIII starting and that multiple sources say he has alienated some of the players in the locker room. She cited as an example from his press conference on Friday. They started in the locker room when about 13-15 players started yelling so much they had to move outside. Of course no context on how or why he would have alienated anyone.

Anybody here heard anything similar?

My assumption, espnz is just trying to stir up shit. Why don't they just go back to putting manziel in the HOF....

Haven't heard anything specific about the alienation of Griff but if he performs nicely and starts winning then those who are disgruntled (if true) will shut up.

Gotta remember that this a guy, setup as the 'savior' and perpetually fed by incessant and oft embarrassing 'RG3' chants, who's on a team owned by an unabashed marketer.

Now that everyone on the outside realizes that Griff is merely mortal there is bound to be some blow back until he proves to be a team guy and does enough good work to deserve those chants.

He doesn't have to prove he is a 'team guy'. He's done that and then some. Look at his behavior, repeated behavior, under duress. Getting benched, getting replaced with injury, he's handled it all with respect and grace. I don't think Griffin is beyond reproach, but he is without question a 'team guy' and should get credit for his leadership on that front.

Dixie:"Of course no context on how or why he would have alienated anyone."

No need to spread rumors. Nothing to this, notwithstanding the fact Colt set a franchise completion game record. There is no QB controversy in DC and espn is trying to stir one up. They claim Griffin starting was Allen/Snyder decision which is bull. Gruden has had this under control from the beginning.

Oh I agree Boone, in our minds (and hopefully in the locker room) he's a team guy, I was primarily pointing to the outside groups, media and fan bases that are easily swayed by that media.

Not trying to spread rumors. I definitely didn't take this at face value especially since I hadn't heard anything specific. Was just curious if any of the media were trying to spin the same story. I don't see anything that's happened this year to let me believe RGIII is anything but a team player.

Countering by Skins PR guy that Griff starting was Gruden's decision, locals (particularly Chris Russell, who hated the DJax move and strongly disagrees with Griff starting now) still stirring the pot saying that pressure from Allen may be involved. I guess it's fairly apparent how this stuff gets around.

General consensus is that Snyder is not involved.

Schefter is a gossiper. He gets called out all the time on Facebook for getting facts wrong, making up stuff, and just being dumb.

I don't like that 'members of the Redskins organization' stuff. I'd fire anyone I found putting out this kind of undermining stuff. I don't care if there is some drama behind the scenes (which I doubt to begin with), it shouldn't be communicated to the media.

I always find that stuff chicken shit, too. "Sources" is the worst for mediots to try and use as legitimate real sources.

You're fine Dixie - you didn't create the story :)

Yeah...I don't follow him on FB, but I do on Twitter. I went to see if he tweeted it, so I could respond but he hasn't promoted it there. I must say, I use to think Schefter was ok, but after the Shanahan business last year, I really soured on him.

Schefter is just passing on what Mike Shanaham believes to be true. I would put major money on it.

Britt is pretty cute, but, am I the only one who thinks she somewhat resembles the Grinch?

A bunch of players and coaches just called the report a bunch of bunk via Dianna Marie Russini.

No drama here.

Again, this has Shanaham written all over it.
