Solomon Wilcots was doing the same thing during the broadcast Sunday and he kept emphasizing Redskins. I got more than a few chuckles out of it.

Anybody else see that the "Pocono Punisher" got his picture used for the intro to Sunday's game? I can't remember who go replaced with him but it was a kinda funny "Hey its just the Redskins" moment for the broadcast crew.... as usual.

Hahaha, yes - I saw that too! They were doing the graphic showing Redskins starting offense. They put his mug in place of Polumbus. Now, if/when Polumbus' face is replaced by Compton or Moses for real - we'll all be happy!

We're playing for a share of first place in the division on Sunday.

Looking at the standings today, I may be a little premature but, as long as we lead the division in the column PA, then we should finish on top. Its always been true that the team that finishes first in the division has the lowest PA and the last place team the highest. That's just how it works. We know that its a stat of past results, I have found monitoring this over many many years, that it is the best stat that can be a leading indicator of future performance. As long as you lead in that stat, the record will follow by season end. We are in very good shape at this stage, and well positioned vis a vis the conference PA.

All of my money is on the fact that the division leader is going to change hands probably about half a dozen times in the next 14 or so weeks

I beleive there is already an ongoing movement to get Phil Simms to not call any more Broncos games after he was openly cheering for the Chefs last weekend. Maybe we can all band together to get him off the air.
