From todays's practice. We may have a new kicker.

Hocker 3-for-3 w long of 54. Forbath 1-for-3 long 53. Missed 34 off right upright and 40 off left upright.

Way too soon to cut a kicker who's been solid for us just because of one day
 
Anybody else wondering how hearing that Kirk Olividotti was coaching Redskins linebackers again caught them by surprise?
Glad to not live and die by everything Redskins lately but this kinda snuck up on me for some reason. Getting old I guess.

I agree. Forbath kicked a gazillion straight his first year - amazing performance. He needs to improve on kickoffs and he came back down to Earth last season, but so did everyone else on the team. I think it would be a mistake to move on from the best kicker we've had in a long, long time. Practice is just that. Let's see Hocker do it in real action.

OK, I woke up this morning on a mission. I rented a big boy lens to go with my arsenal for the first joint practice with the Patriots. In light of the debacle that was last season, I have bee trying to taper my excitement. I am truly excited for football for the first time this year.

It's football season ladies and gentlemen! I hope some rookie doesn't get the no contact memo and plants Tom Brady in the turf!
