It's used by a lot of MDs for male infertility, it's just not 'FDA approved' for that purpose (and neither are a lot of other dual purpose drugs).
I have no problem with the NFL towing the line on 'it's on the player to report meds/supplements they are considering taking to ensure there is no issue'. Mathis admitted it was a dumb thing to do - he just doesn't want to accept the penalty. I get the NFLs position, because opening the door for exceptions or judging every case individually would be a nightmare.
What the league does with owners who misbehave is a separate issue but if Goodell doesn't address owner misconduct he is a hypocrite.
