It's a natural part of the Burgundy & Gold Obsession, to be obsessed with players you become attached to

I get it - I really do. But we have to realize every roster spot needs to count and that means saying goodbye (and sooner is better than later) to players who either can't stay on the field for whom we can upgrade upon in terms of talent. I love players, but not enough to watch a sub-.500 team again.

I'm not sayin it's right.
I'm sayin that it's permanently inevitable.
The majority of fans are primarily driven by emotion, rather than logic. Even the intelligent ones.
That's a fact. And it will never change.
It's an emotionally-charged sport. And it attracts emotionally-charged people, who are constantly doing, saying, and posting things out of pure emotion, that simply do not make sense or line up with logic. Even after they are confronted by logic.
So they simply cannot help themselves.
So, all I'm sayin is, get used to scolding people on this issue for a really really long time.
