Bruce Allen just called Marv Levy a former redskins coach, i must have missed the Levy years.

Maybe it was back in those Maroon and Black days.

Marv Levy was the first ever Special Teams coach in the league, hired by George Allen.

Alright. I know I'm in the middle of this but let's move on now and keep this discussion about Gruden. Sorry I took it on the tangent, but I think we've all gotten a chance to say our piece about how positive we should all be, and if not that's for another thread.

Yes, I agree a more qualified 3-4 coach is preferred...in fact, I switch back to 4-3 is what I would prefer, but Wade Phillips is not coming to DC. He's a Texas boy and older...I doubt seriously he'd come here, even if the money was stupid.
 
I just wanna enjoy thinking about the possibilities now, the season was negative enough for my tastes. Let's just try to Enjoy what might be for awhile!

I think he's reading the threads just saying "I told you so" to himself

Once he's all filled up on that he'll come tell us about how fun his day was :)

Listen, I agree...I would love to have Wade Phillips running our 3-4. I agree he would be the best hire if we do stick with that scheme. In fact, Ryman and I were screaming loudly after our 1st season under Haslett, when Phillips became available, that we should throw huge money at him to run the 3-4 here. That was 3 years ago.

He will be 67 years old this year. I doubt he'd be willing to come to DC. Plus, it just doesn't look like Bruce Allen and Jay Gruden are as smart as you Ryman and I. ;)
 
Only caught the last few minutes of the presser but I like what I see so far other than the 3-4.

That and Nicole Zalmouos wasn't covering it.
 
Not a fan of the 3-4 but ill keep my fingers crossed we get better personnel to run it with
