Been meaning to post in here for a while...
Down another 10 lbs, 55 lbs since Feb. Feeling really good about things, but I have noticed a little bit of a plateau. So I went to the Y and asked the fitness instructor to strength test me and adjust my workouts. She tested my arm, leg, shoulder, back and chest strength and that was pretty awesome because there were dramatic improvements from 3 months ago when I started working out in earnest. For example, when I started I could only do 20 crunches (stop laughing, I was fat AND out of shape, horribly) in one minute, and now I'm up to 45. Pretty good progress.
So tomorrow is the first day of the revised workout plan. I'm dreading that I may not be able to lift my fingers tomorrow morning, we'll see. She also recommended I get to the Y half an hour earlier at 6am and take the Combat Training class Tues and Thurs, my off days from the weight stuff. And take a Yoga class on Friday mornings. I'm not actually sure I have time for all this, and the Combat Training scares the piss out of me. We'll see.
Anyway, getting thinner and thinner. I love it, the wife loves it, it's a good feeling. Still have another 20-ish lbs to go, but now it looks like I have a beer gut, not that I'm pregnant.
