Just to wrap this up, I went with the Galaxy. All the reviews I read rated it better than the iPhone, the ONLY drawback I could see was its size. It is a little too big to easily scroll, but I think I can work around that easily enough. Loving it so far.

Seriously though, Google has gotten absurd with this. BGO is not only in no way even remotely adult, but even in that thread there were no pictures anyone would consider adult. Do they blacklist ESPN for their body issue pieces that actually show nude celebrities? Or Sports Illustrated for their endless coverage of their swimsuit issue? Of course they don't. And the ESPN body issue is waaaaaay more adult than anything that has ever been posted here. It's so stupid.

Is there any way to know whether they were blocking it because of the pics, or could it have been because of the content of the title?

Can you use a robots.txt to keep the google spiders from crawling all over the page content? Or do they frown upon that?

They showed me the google image search results - it was the images that got us blacklisted. We were lucky as it can take a lot if work to get them to approve you again once you've 'violated' one of their policies. I politely protested with some of the same things you're saying. They understood my points but ultimately I think they are under some pressure to clean up the interwebs and it is what it is.

As mentioned a few times, a family member works for Nokia and I get their phones for almost nothing - if I want one. This has been in the works for quite a while. Microsoft has been looking for a way to challenge Google, Samsung, Apple and others. It will take some time to catch up, but this is a game changer for the future.

Disclaimer: I don't own Nokia stock.
