Okay, with more than 40 years under my belt it's time to lose my playoff virginity. I took a deep breath and paid a slightly ridiculous amount for the opportunity to scream myself hoarse, high five strangers and friends, and tailgate with the famous and infamous in the Green Lot where ESers preside (and some like Pez and Huly may actually live year round).

Who else is going? Is this your first? If not, what was your first time like? Is it like any other game or are there more performances during the pre-game, halftime, etc.?

Looking forward to seeing many of you and representing the rest! HTTR

I'll be there. It's my first as well.

I tailgate at D-30 if you wind up swinging by say hi. I'm the guy wearing the griffin jersey

...

.......

Very, very jealous of you both. Immediately when Jackson came down with Romo's third interception I started looking at flights, and they're around $1000-1300 to get home this weekend. Sigh.

I'll try to swing by. I'll be seeing the game with gbear if you remember him. I plan to arrive pretty early.

I haven't been to a home playoff game since 1983.

I did travel to Tampa to see us beat the Bucs, before losing the next game in Seattle. That game was incredible.

You are going to have a blast. Playoff games are LOUD. Everything is intensified.

Been to 2 out of 3 playoff games over the last 7 years. As soon as they announced they were selling tix to the playoff game directly after the Cowboys' game, I stood in line about an hour. It was everything I had in me not to spend the $460 a piece for 2 Dream Seats. I ended up buying two UL on the 35 yard line for 98 bucks a piece, because the Dream Seats were the only ones in LL. Now I have 2 different possibilities in the works to get LL tix, one looks very promising! Hopefully I get that pair and it gets me 5 rows back again! I love sitting with that crew!

Oh and you gotta love my wife! I only bought 2 tix thinking about all the money we spent over the previous month. She says to me, "Why didn't you buy 4 so we could make some money!!!!"

The first playoff game I attended was the 31-7 victory over the Lions on January 8, 1983. The atmosphere was electric but nothing compared to the NFC Championship Game against Dallas two weeks later. The last playoff game I attended was the 41-10 annihilation of the Lions on Jan. 12 of 1992.

Envious of you guys who are attending. Two of my nephews, one of which graduated from Edison with Boone, and my niece's husband will be there representing my family. I expect you newbies to bring home a victory!

I'd give Boone's left nipple to go to this game... maybe both nipples

Loud and proud baby, loud and proud !

Now that's a good (and smart) woman!

Thinking about going if I have nothing else to do that day....

It's my first playoff game as well. I can't imagine paying the prices some folks are though, as a season tix holder I payed 80 bucks a ticket for my seats in 219. I just saw someone selling their 400 level tix for $300 a pop...nuts!

even though I'm very jealous (I've never been able to go to a skins home game, ever.), I did really like your thoughts here Burg and wanted to give you a rating you deserve (you know what I am referring to I think)

Yeah, it was very close to my threshold of not going. Without question someone is making a profit off of me, but I don't mind. The money would have been spent and it will be a memory.

SS, I will scream at least once in your honor! You will be there like Ben Kenobi hovering over our shoulders and urging the force to do its will for the greatest good!

Last playoff game I attended was the NFC Championship game against Detroit in '91

 Oh sure, Pez. We already KNOW you have a job to do. :chef:

Huly's "wing" man! ;)

Not this week.

This season we've lost when Pez does wings at the tailgate. He is forbidden to do wings.

If he does, we're tossing his ass down Piss Valley.

Seriously.

Well, I pulled some strings, made some moves and got the LL tix I wanted! I GOT DREAM SEATS BABY!!!! Haha! With the tickets I bought for the UL at the box office the other day, I was able to maneuver my way into Dream Seats!

HTTR!!! I will be rooting the team on from the front row!

Sweet! Congrats!

Be loud and get in the 'hawks heads.
