KICKOFF TIME FOR REDSKINS-COWBOYS GAME
CHANGED TO 8:20 P.M. ET

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. – The National Football League announced tonight that the kickoff time for the game between the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, Dec. 30, has been changed to 8:20 p.m. ET.

The game will be broadcast on NBC.

I'm gonna pass out and die from the surprise. :)

That makes two of us, Henry. ;)

Only other consideration had to be the Minnesota game for AP's record, but HOU bottling him up today pretty much prevented that, I think.

He only needs like 200 yards to break it...

Didn't phrase that well, sorry. I think if he had gained 150+, the game next week would have had a better chance of being flexed. As it is, I think he COULD break the record, but 200 is a big number.

Skins/Boys is a rivalry game for all the marbles. Pretty easy call.

Oh Hell Yeah!! More tailgating time!!!!

I've cut the SNF theme song and uploaded for those of you who want to set it as your ringtone for the week...

That's a free file host... never heard of or used them before, so run your virus scanner on it and then play it before putting it on your phone to be safe.

Can't wait for my phone to ring.

im not surprised that they did it, i am surprised however they were able to do it.... i figured Fox would have faught tooth and nail to keep that game, and didnt realize they didnt already have a sunday night game scheduled. I guess this is why they leave that slot open, promisig NBC that they will get a game for that.

It is easier to just leave it open ST. As NBC already has the right to change games and we know from history that the game we think at the beginning of the season will be good likely won't be by the time we get to it.

This way, only the fans and teams from one game have to change plans. If they had a game on the schedule for NBC for Sunday already then twice the people would be moving stuff around.

But our playoff destiny may still be decided by the 1pm games.
Both the Bears and Vikings play at 1pm, and if they both lose, we're in the playoffs, regardless of Sunday Night's outcome. But we'll win anyway.

I also think the NFL trumps any network as far as games go.

Yeah but with with the money fox gives them to be the "NFC network" that they would have pull

@ESPNStatsInfo #Cowboys QB Tony Romo has played 4 "Win or Go Home" games since 2008 (includes 2 playoff gms) -- in 3 of them, his QBR was less than 20

And 2 of the non-playoff games were against the other 2 divisional foes - NY and Philly, who each sent him home. So, now it's our turn, to complete the trifecta

this has been a crazy season .....i will be ready for sunday night !

Woohoo, we get the game LIVE, but what makes it even better is that we'll get it at lunchtime on Monday.

So, it looks like it will be an early night on Sunday, rest up and watch the game, then celebrate well in to 2013.

BTW, I'm writing this on my freshly delivered Pendo Pad. It will never match it's big brothers, but at least I'm now on the tablet train.
