Blogging the Beast: Redskins/Rams Film Review

My two favorite bullets:
• Really like Alfred Morris. Runs hard, but I saw a burst that I hadn’t seen before. On one run, Trent Williams and Kory Lichtensteiger gave Morris a couple of great blocks and Morris exploded for about 20. At some point I can see Shanny moving on to another back and re-deploying Morris on battle-weary defenses late in the season.

• RG3 inside the 10 is going to be a pain in the butt for opponents to deal with for the next 10 years. Made quick decisions and when he saw big lanes, he didn’t hesitate in running for the goal line. But he also has great touch on the football, and a strong accurate arm. I suspect the Skins will have excellent Red Zone numbers for the next decade.

Redskins-Rams Film Observations, Week 2.

I'm not gonna lie. I actively wish ill upon the Rams now. That sort of garbage has no place. But definitely a bravo to our guys for getting revenge in the game in a legal, clean fashion. Makes the Rams look like even bigger chumps....Just wish we had beat them too.

I second this!

League fines out to be huge this week.

I doubt it. They are trying to minimize the horrific job their replacements are doing so they don't give the real guys any leverage.

Goodell is a ****!

Redskins aren't going to get any relief from the NFL.

Snyder and Jones are hated by the small market owners who are afraid of their attempts to drive independent revenue streams from the revenue sharing scheme.

Let's face it. Guys like Mike Brown and Bidwill would be out of business without that league check.

Goodell is simply following orders.

If the Redskins win anything it will be in spite of the league.

Yeah, in a fair world, fines this week, league wide, should approach the $250,000 mark, and, include 5-10 one game suspensions. I saw at least 6 different guys throw punches, that at least partially connected, in our game, and the Fecal/Crow game. But as we all know, the owners butt boy, Goodell, won't dare acknowledge the incompetence of the NFL, the owners, and the horrific, way in over their heads, "officials."

The missed "Here's Your Sign" moment would have been hysterically poetic, had the replacement jackasses caught it.

Howie Long's punk son, taunting the Redskins sideline after Morgan's brain cramp, pointing to his head, even after being told by a ref to stop, was a penalty that would, and should have, off-set Morgan's. And it was even dumber, than Morgan's. Sure would have been sweet.
