i have had a theory about draft positioning for a while, when a workout warrior is drafted earlier than he should be, he rarely pans out because he doesnt works as hard to get better, most of the time those guys havent been productive because they coast on being strong or fast and never develop technique or instincts. when that same type of guy is drafted later, often they work harder and become solid players, it just takes time and later drafted players who flash ability are often given that, while early rounders are expected to be good right away. Poe didnt play to his measurables, he lacks technique, he would be better served being drafted late to a team that doesnt force him in right away.
I've seen some mocks suggesting that the Cowboys could take him with the 14th pick. Could be a smokescreen as well. Ya never know.

Shawn Loiseau is a very talented LB who could learn under the tutelage of London Fletcher (assuming he returns). Loiseau has a high motor and the skillset to be a superb inside player for many years to come. Don’t let the small college label fool you – Fletcher came from a small school as well. Loiseau has the goods to be a great one.

Man, I would love to get Jean-Baptiste in the 4th round, but I doubt he makes it out of the 3rd, possibly even going in the late 2nd round. NTs are at a premium, and a guy who dominated like that at the senior bowl (or shrine game, whatever it was) will be a hot commodity.

The DTs seem to be dropping a bit and this is why I put Baptiste in the 4th round - this is where he would probably be slotted today. This is only the second mock I have done this season and there will be two updates per week until the draft. More changes/adjustments are likely to occur and it will be based on factors like FA, team cap situation, team needs, etc.
After our first choice, everything is open for debate.

That makes me wonder why you think Schwartz is worthy of the 3rd round pick then. Is there another RT prospect that you like better than Schwartz and Cullen? What about Donald Stephenson out of Oklahoma, some are saying he'd be a good candidate to switch to RT?

IIRC, Schwartz was one of the few guys at the Senior bowl who was able to consistantly block Quentin Coples and Courtney Upshaw. I think he goes late in the second round but, if not, may the Schwartz be with us.

B.J. Coleman - QB, UT-Chattanooga
Coleman has the tools to be a decent solution as a long term backup in the NFL. He will need time to adjust to the game and could produce as a starter or in relief, especially when injuries occur to the starting QB.
Round Seven:
George Bryan - TE, N.C. State
Bryan could be the player who puts Chris Cooley on notice. A reliable blocker with good hands, George Bryan is certainly talented enough to make the team and this selection could force Rob Myers to the practice squad.

Shawn Loiseau - ILB, Merrimack
Shawn Loiseau is a very talented LB who could learn under the tutelage of London Fletcher (assuming he returns). Loiseau has a high motor and the skillset to be a superb inside player for many years to come. Don’t let the small college label fool you – Fletcher came from a small school as well. Loiseau has the goods to be a great one.
