The RG3 video and pic thread

For the state of this offense, I think RG3 is the better choice in the short term. Not sure about long term. Hard to be too disapointed either way, but the excitement factor with RG3 is appealing. I think there's no way the Colt's pass up on Luck, though.

My favorite from that thread:

Important note from Griffin's presser yesterday when asked if he is a Cowboys fan. He answered that he is NOT. :)

That's because he's smart. If the Cowboys suddenly trade up with Indy for the #1, I bet he "clarifies" that statement with a sly smile on his face. Man is definitely dialed in.

Wanna feel better about our potential "consolation prize?"

Good stuff Om. I know a lot people will be totally deflated if the Colts take Griffin. Not I. From the looks of it, the NFL has two new shiny gold pieces to showcase. I'm tickled to have one of them sporting the Burgundy & Gold.

I don't really care which one, as long as he can play professional QB.

Its a PFT Mock, Neo. PFT knows about as much about football as my growler from a couple hours ago.

Oh, I know, Lanky. I know but it's the first. Hopefully it's the last...

Been hitting the Indy fan boards a bit today after Om linked to one this morning and Colts fans are nearly all in on Luck. I think Irsay might have a revolt on his hands if he were to go with Griffin.

This is kinda fun...a chance to watch an RG3 game in full, not all packaged up into highlight reel fashion.

EDIT: Of interest....#4 at LB for Baylor is Elliot Coffey, son of former Skins S Ken Coffey.

I'm getting old

More touchdown passes than incomplete passes

Well yeah. That's exactly what I was thinking. :)

Of course, I doubt they'll show underthrown balls on a highlite reel. Anyone here watch Griffin play enough to comment? I admit I didn't pay Griffin any attention until it was obvious we were going to get him.

Going into the Kansas State game RG3 had more touchdown passes than incompletions. He only had 6 interceptions for the entire year. This year I very rarely saw him underthrow his receivers. Usually the passes were right on the money. The interceptions he had were tipped passes by the receiver or a desperate attempt to force the ball into coverage because we were behind in the game. He is amazingly accurate. Payton Manning, Andrew Luck and John Elway are the only QBs that I know of that are that accurate on a regular basis. He throws a better long ball than any of the quarterbacks I mentioned.

Love having some of you Baylor fans here to give us your perspective
