ESPN: Report: Gregg Williams Leaving Saints

I'm with Boone and Bulldog - Greggggg is a fantastic D coordinator. The reason the Saints lost this weekend was the rest of the team giving the ball away 5 times!

I never said that wasn't a very large factor. What I said was that when the defense absolutely had to have a stop on Saturday, they failed. Twice.

Which was all too reminisent of his time here with the Skins. Solid D for 3 and half quarters but not so solid in the closing minutes. And it happened as much early in his time here as it did late.

Chicken and the egg, I suppose. If they don't spot the 9ers 17 points from the get-go, maybe they win handily and Gregg's D looks flawless. Did they fail when they absolutely HAD to have a stop? Sure. But should they have been in that position? I say no.

No but his defensive play calling in the playoffs the last two years was offensive
