The good: The defense of the New England Patriots is nowhere near the level of years past, so we will score some points.

The bad: Their offense is still what it always is, so we would have to put up 35+ to win or even have a shot, which won't happen.

The ugly: They're the Patriots. They seem to like to use us as a doormat to warm up for games that matter.

It will be ugly, as always. We will get embarrassed, as always.

Patriots: 47
Redskins: 19

Patriots 51
Redskins 13

Seriously - I think it will be very ugly.

I dunno guys. I think the Colts coulda won that game if there had been another 5 minutes in it. The Pats D is ridiculously bad, thought their O is absurdly good.

I'm seeing a tight game, with a Grossman TO being the difference.

28-19, Skins.

Biggest upset of the year in the making!

Brady gets rattled by the rush of Kerrigan and Rak. We keep him off the field for most of the game because Shanny Sr. takes the reigns when Kyle gets pass happy after the run game gets going in the 1st quarter again. Helu rushes for a Redskins' rookie record 3 game 100 yard rushing streak when he goes for 159 and 2 td's. Rex goes a full game without an INT going 21 for 27 for 318 yards. And we pull the game out in the end on the defnsive side of the ball as Brady cannot bring them back from a 13 point 4th quarter deficit.

Redskins 23
Pats 20

:)

35-21, Pats.

Only reason it's that close is because their D is nothing to brag about.

Not that our O is.

on further inspection...I think you may be on to something!

Skins surprise most observers....playing the overconfident Patriots close.

The game heads into the final 5 minutes tied.

The Pats fumble a punt deep in their own end, and the Skins take over on the NE 3 yard line.

Despite ourselves, we think how cool it would be to beat that ****ing Belichick guy.

At which point the Redskins remember who they are.

Four plays later, Gano hits a 37 yard FG to give Washington their first lead.

Brady, already imagining that night's foreplay routine with Gazelle Munchin, routinely leads New England on a 6 play, 80 yard TD drive to take a 4 point lead with a minute left.

Banks returns the squib kick to midfield.

Helu takes a 4th and 18 screen from Rex and races down the right sideline all the way to the NE 8 yard line, where he gets pushed out of bounds with 5 seconds left.

On the final play of the game, Rex drops to pass...and...stands there.

And stands there.

As tucki pucker all over Redskins Nation, he fails to notice the 320 pound lineman charging toward him and...gets turned into a grease stain on the FedEx turf.

The ball rolls happily around for a while, until it finds a suitable Patriot's hands to hop softly up into...and then enjoys the 90 yard jaunt back the other way to New England paydirt.

Patriots 31, Redskins 20

And we get to dream about rookie franchise QB's in April for another week.

The suspensions of Davis and Williams I think are going to set back the Redskins recent surge towards more competitive play that began in the Dallas game.

This offense was bad enough With them in the lineup.

Sean Locklear and Logan Paulsen as starters?

Cover your eyes.

The Patriots are going to win this game walking away.

42-17.

Grossman will throw 2 touchdowns but also 3 picks and will fumble once as well.

That's his pattern.

I pretty much agree, although scoring 17 points might be a stretch

Skins 35
Pats - 7

Someone had to do it I suppose. Good for you.

Someday, somehow the Redskins will score more than 30. I'd be surprised if it happened this season, let alone this game. But I admire your homerism.

Pats 38 - Redskins 27

Gazelle Munchin? :rotflmao: Well done, Om.
