Moments after parting ways with troublesome LT Trent Williams, the Redskins selected Saahdiq Charles, OT from LSU with the 108th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Charles helped the Tigers win a 2019 National Title as well as the 'Joe Moore Award' for the Nation's best offensive line. Charles is perhaps smaller than ideal for a current NFL LT, but expect him to bulk up significantly. Charles is a very good athlete with versatility as he has played numerous OL positions at the college level. He has had some marijuana-related and other disciplinary problems during his college tenure but has a high ceiling and will almost certainly be the Redskins opening day starter at OT.
