    They really must have seen something in AK to draft him as a developmental QB over someone like VJ Payne (who of course went a few picks later). Payne would have had a decent shot to make the roster and get some actual in season game reps baring an injury. Shaking my head on this one.

    He is a really good anchor for pass pro. Not too athletic and will struggle with quicker defenders and moving on the run. As long as he keeps JD5 upright, I’ll take it until we find something better (assuming he wins the competition). Good pick.

    If this FO wanted a center, we should have traded up ahead of the Panthers as they lost Cade Mays. Hopefully they at least tried, if Center was the target here, especially with Hecht on the board.
