    The 2026 Draft Thread - 1st Round - 7th overall

Peters was very specific in his comments. He didn’t have to over play things. I don’t quite understand your unnecessary spin. The interview and Peters comments were very clear, transparent, and not for click bait. Clear as day, no need to second guess like you are.

Well our GM thinks he’s a plug and play team captain for the next decade.

    The 2026 Draft Thread - 1st Round - 7th overall

‘just give me one of those guys’ seems to go against the grain of a view of not wanting to trade back. That statement aligns to a ‘we might as well move back a few picks’ view.

BGO Blind Pig - Draft Prep Podcast!

I wouldn’t go that far…:nono: Seriously, I did flick through and took in about 20 minutes, nothing personal but podcasts and my concentration levels don’t go together. Clearly great insight, yourself and SIP invest serious time into reviewing draft prospects. Very informative. No chance SIP...

He could be right, but DQ sure spews some utter fluff out.

They’ve also been linked/speculated with a trade back with Dallas

    The 2026 Free Agency Thread

Yeah there has to be multiple moves ahead at receiver. If AP does have a good relationship with Aiyuk, the trade thing doesn’t concern me, I would envisage a contract re-do being straightforward and amicable, especially if Aiyuk wants to be here and get his career back in line. If it ends up...

    The 2026 Free Agency Thread

Agree here, aside from Coleman, the other 3 arrived with serious hype and the much famed ‘Commander Tag’, might need to rethink the criteria for that particular ‘Tag’ if they fizzle out tamely.

    The 2026 Free Agency Thread

They absolutely misread the quality of our roster and missed a season. The Jayden injury(s) then completely derailed it. That is part of my frustration with AP and DQ at present. Lots of good talking, some trust to rebuild from my personal perspective.

    The 2026 Draft Thread - 1st Round - 7th overall

Well this pegging thing got distracting…. Not long now, each has their favourites, seems like a wide open draft to me.

I’d say that’s where I am at, hopefully the desperation for a WR doesn’t over influence #7

    The 2026 Draft Thread - 1st Round - 7th overall

Agree, he has to be viewed as WR1 material, someone who can fill that place after the 2026 season probably. That would have to be the remit to justify that #7 pick in my opinion.

    The 2026 Draft Thread - 1st Round - 7th overall

Yep, getting 12 and 20, plus change, from the Pukes is a good start with that. They’ll probably move back again to go after 2027 ammo.

    The 2026 Draft Thread - 1st Round - 7th overall

Now that’s a logical trade for both.

    The 2026 Draft Thread - 1st Round - 7th overall

I’d be all for taking him after a slight trade back.

    The 2026 Draft Thread - 1st Round - 7th overall

Watched some Tate again. What am I missing that makes him a great pick at #7, don’t see that burst or physicality. He does catch everything mind. There is that. Hadn’t realised he was comparatively young. Perhaps he’s got that massive growth/development potential. Do you all see instant Y1...
