I think it's somewhere in the middle of what you're saying. Your post seems to imply that Washington will always dictate everything. Either they are broken or they will dominate (Philly as the exception). I believe that against the good-to-very-good defenses, Washington will be held in check...
Kevin Sheehan broke this down a little bit earlier in the week. Apparently KK's regression isn't typically his offense, but usually his overall team (when he's been the head coach). That would be something to be optimistic about.
That's true...but Dallas is very, very bad. I wouldn't be surprised to see the struggles pop back up against Tennessee, New Orleans, and Philly again. But, the Dallas games and Atlanta games should look good.
I think that's the best compromise. Either Braves with the traditional logo or with the spear uniforms from the 60s. Who would have an issue with that?
The Skins are pretty safely in the wild card right now. They'd have to take a drastic nosedive to fall behind any of the NFC West contenders. The Seahawks really did them a favor on Sunday...I would be much more worried sitting only half-a-game ahead of SF right now.
I'm not sure how likely it is, but the old logo would go great with my two favorite non-Redskin names (Warriors and Braves). Even if they rebranded to the spear helmet and were able to use the Indian-head logo as throwbacks, that could be cool.
I'm an old guy, clearly, but I agree with the primary point of this thread. I wish they would stick with something far more traditional and establish something. Work some gold in there...the players last night that I thought looked great were the ones who had gold sleeves or cleats that helped...
I'd agree. Getting some guys a little rest will help. The other thing Kliff can do is have some time to figure out where the holes are and how he can use those to his advantage (if possible).
This defense is still not a great defense. I think *some* of what you might be seeing is in-game adjustments finally catching up and the outcomes/results normalizing just a little bit. Think about it, in any of these games, should the Washington defense be holding these offenses in the...
Philly is good, but I don't think their D is nearly as good as Pittsburgh's. I understand the stats, but I just don't think it'll be nearly as hard for Washington to move the ball. Their offense though, when it's clicking, is better. What happens with Philly at times though is that they have off...
Did anyone watch The Penguin? Holy crap was that a good show...
I think The Batman was my least favorite installment of the Batman movies when it came out a couple years ago. But, after a deeper dive into the universe, my wife and I re-watched it and it's pretty cool. I like the gritty feel.
I wish they would strongly consider just throwing things back to their roots. This franchise was born as the Braves, we know that Braves has survived the PC police in other sports, so why not just settle there? I wouldn't *love* it as someone who grew up loving the Redskins name, but at least it...
