    Sure, but "control" in this definition is kind of semantic IMO. The players agreed to this relationship in the NFLPA contract with the league, in return for which they are guaranteed a s**t ton of money overall, the majority of all NFL profits. Pretty good decision to "submit".

    I believe a good part of Stroud's "sophomore slump" was due to losses on the offensive line, the opposite of what's happening here. And not knocking Stroud, but Jayden's talent and work effort are both at a higher level.
