We all have our gripes about the state of the roster and the schedule is a murderers row, but I feel very about JD bouncing back. I’d bet on it, but I want it to actually happen.
I can’t believe there’s a Commanders fan breathing that wouldn’t be interested in Diggs after the outcome of his legal matters. I see folks talking about him being selfish, cancerous and killing the vibe. If this ‘brotherhood’ is as strong as they say it is, that really shouldn’t be a problem...
RE: Burks
It’s not just the highlight play. He flashed on the field even when the stats didn’t back it up. He was getting open and hauled in some tough grabs.
That’s not enough to write him in as WR2 by any stretch but I get the allure of the potential. He looked the part when he was on the...
As primarily a bystander reading through these threads, it’s not ‘them’ that’s insufferable.
It’s sort of your thing to crash out over LSU guys. It’s one thing to prefer x player, but you get big mad.
My stretch dream has us ending up with Love, but if the Giants really have him at the top of their board, I hope he goes to Arizona or Tenn.
With Love off the board, it 100% has to be Tate. One cannot speak about supporting Jayden’s development and go defense at 7.
Jennings likely wants more guaranteed money than any team was willing to part with. At this point, I don’t expect any movement for Jennings until after the draft.
Somebody clearly wrote that joke for Tom. It was good though, and of course Jayden took it like a champ.
I’ve never been more certain folks are going to be eating their words, with all the reaching for reasons last year stunk.
I don’t disagree that AP can’t count on getting Aiyuk or even that he’ll be healthy enough that we’d want to play him.
But if the rumors of what Jennings is wanting are true, there’s no chance we’ll be bringing him in. Time to look at the draft.
The silence from the Aiyuk camp throughout all this is deafening. While the SF brass’ narrative is that basically he’s a lunatic - the other narrative is that SF used him rehabbing away from the team as a loophole to void his guarantees and then refused to play him after he rejoined the team...
This is just looking for things to be mad about. In 2024 it was highly acknowledged how cool Jayden was under pressure; unflappable, moves on to the next play, etc. He regularly left the field with a smile, bad play or not. It’s just everybody likes everything you do when you win, but when...
I think the gloom through yesterday was warranted given how last offseason went along with the team narrative that their woes in 2025 were primarily injuries.
That said, I have to tip my cap with what they’ve done as a whole at this point.
I think we have to be elated with the additions to the defense, while at the same time expecting that at minimum - Chig and Jennings get signed today. We simply cannot run it back with the same O minus Tyler and Deebo.
Like what?
Howie going to trade Brown to a division rival? We don’t even have the draft capital to give up.
I think it feels like something is up because it should be. We havent done anything and all signs point to desperately needing a weapon.
Given all the talk about how Adam Peters was the next coming, I’m beginning to wonder if it’s less him and more being asked to shop for filet with ground beef money.
