  1. Why i'm losing hope

All those things are true, but also remember that Gibbs wasn't always near as popular in the 80s with the masses as he is now with the long time fanatics. Every time there was a problem or the team wasn't doing well, the media and many fans were all over Gibbs. I remember my high school math...
  2. Random Commanders Thoughts

I am actually a little more hopeful that the Skins will be competitive now that RG3 was benched. Also, I think there is some truth to the TMZ article. I'm sure guys wanted him benched and out of there a long time ago.
  3. Is Gruden playing possum?

    I agree 100%
  4. RG3 Development Tracker 2015

It's such a bummer man. I, like many, had such high hopes for Griffin, nevermind how much the team gave up to get him.
  5. RG3 Development Tracker 2015

Either that or Gruden knew the only way he would keep his job was to support and play RG3, no matter what he actually thought of him.
  6. Is Gruden playing possum?

Yes Om I think you're right about Gruden. He's very limited as long as RG3 is his QB imo.
  7. Is Gruden playing possum?

Yeah I didn't even think about the fact that we play Miami in the first game. Yikes you know those guys are licking their chops.
  8. Is Gruden playing possum?

Right there with you Boone. I'll just add that I think Gruden's sudden turn around on RG3 this year is more about keeping his job and hoping for a miracle than being honest imo.
  9. Is Gruden playing possum?

I'm sorry my friend. You've known me a long time, and I've always been an optimist, but I'm really just not feeling it at all this year. Griffin just takes a pounding back there and looks so unaware and discombobulated back there to me. I've never seen a starting QB look so uncomfortable and...
  10. RG3 Development Tracker 2015

OK I said this after the first pre-season game and was told Griffin looked fine and was improving. Last night he was literally knocked out of the game after 1 quarter. Yes pass protection was very poor, but Griffin's lack of pocket awareness and tendancy to hold the ball too long combined with...
  11. Is Gruden playing possum?

Playing possum...nah we just suck unfortunately. Though I do have hope that the oline will be a little better this year if TW can stay healthy. if not we're in big trouble.
  12. RG3 Development Tracker 2015

I'm not worried and Garcon at all. I think he's a stud who was very frustrated last year. The oline, I've been one of their biggest critics, but I'm hopeful they'll be better this year. Chester was absolutely horrible last year, and the rookie actually looked pretty good there last night in...
  13. RG3 Development Tracker 2015

Sorry if it seems that way, that was not my intention. I just watched the first 2 drives again. I have to say, I think a lot of folks have really lowered their standard when it comes to RG3 an his "development". The guys is not a rookie. He's going ino his 4th year and we're celebrated him...
  14. RG3 Development Tracker 2015

Not sure if you're talking to me, but I'm definitely cheering for him. I just didn't think he looked very good. I'm watching it again right now to see if I was being unfair last night.
  15. RG3 Development Tracker 2015

I guess I'm in the minority here, but I was far from excited about Griffin's play. I would say he improved from horrible to just pretty bad. Most of his throws were inaccurate, and he took 2 huge hits in just 2 short series. Dude takes way too many big hits.
  16. Tracy Porter and Chris Chester Are Gone

Yeah it's funny how under-rated Monk is, even by old school Skins fans! Clark was a play-maker, and definitely one of my favorites, but Monk was of greatest all around receivers of all time!
  17. Opine on the picks

I don't watch college football, but I am really pleased with the draft. I LOVE the first pick, and really like that they traded down to add picks. Can't help but laugh a little at you guys scratchin your heads over late round picks.
  18. John Keim: Redskins 2014 Offensive Line Rankings, Stats And Breakdown

You really don't understand that? The answer is so obvious I can't believe you don't see it. Safeties and corners aren't responsible for protecting the Quarterback. The fanbase has been dying for a franchise QB for so long, we trade the farm to get one, and we put a bunch of scrubs in front...
  19. John Keim: Redskins 2014 Offensive Line Rankings, Stats And Breakdown

Either that or the Redskins' oline is actually too good for success and they need to downgrade there so they can be as good as Seattle and New England.
  20. John Keim: Redskins 2014 Offensive Line Rankings, Stats And Breakdown

From the article: The Redskins ranked 11th in the NFL in pass protection percentage (50.9), according to ESPN Stats & Information. That measures the number of times a team won the line of scrimmage (yes, tough to gauge sometimes because so many factors involved, but the metrics are the same for...
