David Chao, former head trainer for Chargers of 17 years turned internet doc, has said he won’t be close to recovered by the season start. Says more like midseason at reduced capability.
He’s a scumbag human but the only internet doc worth paying attention to given his experience. Rarely incorrect.

“Wide receiver is one of those positions though where there are a number of veterans out there that could be a 1 year bridge to 2027 if we aren't able to get one at #7.”
There was a guy on 106.7, think he covers Jets and Giants which sounds weird and maybe I heard wrong, but he was adamant whatever Jags are saying is irrelevant and they will move BTJ if they get a real offer. He said a 2nd would get it done easily. Also said it could be more of a draft time move...
Maaaaaannnnn that is a HUGE HUGE relief. Pretty good price there also.
Aiyuk in our back pocket.
Now give me Jennings!!! We’re so close to sweeping this.
A lot of those were just tush push variety offshoots. I’ve always liked the player but his athleticism has slipped a lot the last couple seasons. Still would take him if we miss on Chig.
My view is AP does not expect Reese or Bailey to be on the board and doesn’t have interest in Bain. Agree that he wouldn’t hesitate to take one of the first two despite free agency signings.
Oh I think he can play, has the skill and makeup, just that his physical limitations render him jaggy in the next level. But I digress. Seems we’re out of that business at 7 anyway.
I got no problem missing out on Pierce, Linder, and Hendrick at their respective prices. I’ll take Chiasson at 12 over Trey at 2x30.
The ones I’m upset about are Doubs and Likely. Could easily have had them both. Get Jennings and Chig and it’s all good.
Chaisson and Chenal are fantastic additions. Love what they’re doing defensively and that starts with Jones at DC.
It’s still code red on offense with few viable options remaining. Both things are true.
WR- Aiyuk seems like a given. Jennings is only other difference maker on the market since...
