    It's me. I would dislike Downs. Kinda. Not really. But it would be an inefficient use of resources in most scenarios, so unless the FO "solves" edge and WR in FA, Downs would be a great player shoring up a position, while other parts of the team struggle. Can easily get a B to B+ level...

    Also the 30/31 year old wall comes for so many guys. Amari Cooper Look at DaVante Adams, Calvin Ridley, Mike Evans, heck Terry McLaurin. Sometimes it's injuries, sometimes it's just a decline, sometimes it's both. Aiyuk should not be assumed to be a high level WR beyond 2027, if even that.

    Unfortunately, 20M is basically the going rate for a good #2, #1s are getting 30M+. Pierce can't be a focal point, at least, he can't be the only/main one, but he's still gonna get 20M+ to be a team's Tee Higgins to their Ja'marr Chase.
