    The 2026 Free Agency Thread

Kevin Sheehan has speculated that it was the Vikings game where the rift between Quinn and Kliff really started to grow roots. We also ended up hiring a member of their defensive staff as our coach. I wonder if that is the game where the dissastisfaction with with Tyler Biadasz perhasp reall...

They are a bit of opposites. Dyami Brown has deep ball juice and yards after the catch juice, but is a subpar route runner. Van Jefferson lacks athletic juice but is a pretty technical and nuanced route runner.

    The 2026 Free Agency Thread

Jennings is a good player, no question. He’s big, physical, competitive, and a really solid route runner. He is a great run blocker. He’s basically the ideal possession receiver. But he just doesn’t have downfield juice. He ran in 4.72 coming out of college and he’s not getting faster, so...

Doubs deal is worth between 17 and 20 million AAV.

It looks like its 6.5 milion over the next two years which combines the year he had left on his deal plus the 1 year extension.

Haven't watched him but I understanding is he is probably a slot only receiver.

I watched Jermod McCoy against Ohio State and Alabama from 2024, which made for really good evaluation tape because it was basically nonstop good on good. Between the two games he saw Jeremiah Smith, Emeka Egbuka, Carnell Tate, Germie Bernard, and Ryan Williams, so you’re getting a real test of...

    The 2026 Free Agency Thread

Difficult to say. I don't love the player, but he probably makes this team better. Granted we could draft a player like Domninique Orange at 71 and then he would be less of a necessity. In terms of compensation because losing him is a blow to this upcoming season, I would want a premium so...

I don't know a ton about the centers. I did watch Connor Lew. From others talking about them I like Lew and Hecht. I also like Gulbin vs. his consensus ranking of 203. If you could get him in the 6th round that seems like good value to me.

    The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 2

This is my notes from the March 19th Daft on Draft episode. This WR group really feels like a “yeah, but…” class. A lot of guys who can clearly play in the NFL, but almost all of them come with some kind of limiting trait that keeps them from being clean projections. You see tools, you see...

    The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 2

I have taken him a number of times at 71 in mock drafts. He is number 73 on the consensus mock draft board, but there are a couple other center hungry teams like the Ravens so I could see him going in the late second round if teams see him as center #1.

    The 2026 Draft Thread - 1st Round - 7th overall

I listened to the March 17, 2026 Daft on Draft episode on wide receivers, and this was a fun one because there’s a pretty clear top group but a lot of stylistic differences in how these guys win. It felt like James and Cory agreed on the general tiers but had some really interesting differences...

    The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 2

I watched Jonah Coleman, the 5'8, 220-pound back from Washington, against Michigan and Illinois, and those games were actually great evaluation tape because things were not blocked particularly well. In both matchups the defensive fronts consistently stacked Washington’s offensive line, crossed...

    The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 2

I think Nick Singleton's primary role in his first couple year's in the NFL will be as a third down back. He is one of the better backs in pass pro and showed some skills as a pass catcher. Penn St. ran an outside zone under Andy Kotelnicki and Singleton's decision making wasn't that good...

    The 2026 Draft Thread - 1st Round - 7th overall

This is DaftonDraft's scouting report of Rueben Bain... Rueben Bain had one of the most productive seasons of anyone in the 2026 draft class and was a major reason Miami made its run to the National Championship game. In 2025 he piled up 15.5 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, and an absurd 83...

    The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 2

Listened to the March 13, 2026 Daft on Draft episode on running backs and it was a pretty blunt evaluation of the class overall. They covered six backs and basically split them into two tiers: Jadarian Price, Mike Washington, Emmett Johnson, and Jonah Coleman in the top group, with Kaytron Allen...

    The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 2

I like Haulcey a lot. I think Genesis Smith is the best true post safety in terms of coverage, but he is a terrible tackler--so he is a bit of a mesh of extremes--best coverage, worst tackling--so he won't be a fit for everybody's defensive system.

I would take Tate over Love. And I think Love is the better player, but WR is probably a bigger need and its a more valuable position.
