This is what I'm thinking, also.
Run, run, run.
Merrit should end up with at least 15 carries.
Convert third downs. You know, ... with the occasional 75 yard bomb to McCaffrey.
Keep their offense off the field and slow the game down.
Of course, a lot of this depends on us not going down 10 - 14...
Their defense is the worst in the league, and giving up 4.7 yards a carry. Merritt should have a field day. They're givong up 270 yards a game through the air, and 411 yards total.
Certainly doesnt gaurantee a win, but I dont think its all doom and gloom either.
I just dont want us to see us...
I'm kind of looking at it like this:
If we only win one of the next three games, we will not make the playoffs.
We win two of the next three, we will at least be in the running until the last week of the season.
We win the next three, we will make the playoffs.
Probably been asked already, but is there a prediction thread for this one ?
I'm interested to see who gets the first four or five carries for us, and if McLaurin gets more targets.
I'd feel better about this one if we were at home, but even with that I still put it at 50-50 on a win.
Not going...
After looking around a little bit, it looks like we didnt start putting the Redskins wordmark above the numbers on the jerseys until 2003. When we were winning Super Bowls, the wordmark wasnt there. The " new " throwbacks are essentially an exact replica of those " Super Bowl Era " uniforms...
I hope so, and that rumour has been out there. And, if they do that, that would open up a slot for another new alternate/throwback, because as I understand it, a team can wear an alternate/throwback up to four times a year but it doesn't have to be the same one. Seattle for instance has two...
If it bounces into the endzone, yes.
For instance, the ball first hits at the 10, and bounces into the endzone.
Provided the receiving team doesnt pick it up and run with it, of course.
