  1. The Peyton Manning discussion

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/02/11/theres-a-lot-anti-manning-sentiment-in-washington/ Wow! Do you think that we have been burned so many times with high priced Free Agents that we have become somewhat bitter? I think there are about four places that Peyton would rather than DC...
  2. RG3 and Manning: Anything is Possible?

Last year when Shanny and crew didn't draft a QB it was thought because there are so many better QBs in the 2012 draft. I have seen this idea on several posts that there are better QBs in the 2013 draft. Eventally we are going to have to stop playing safe and take a chance on a quarterback...
  3. Free Agency:

I pretty much agree with everything you said. It is well documented that you are higher on Flynn than I am but hey that is why the blog is here. As far as Tackles go you are right I just don't see one in Free Agency really worth signing. Some nice talent in the interior line just like you...
  4. Free Agency:

I think the chances that we at least try to move up for RG3 are very good. I have gone back and fourth on Manning but my final prediction (at least for now :)) is Manning does not come to Washington so that will leave room for us to move up for RG3.
  5. Free Agency:

What do you guys think we need to do with Free Agency this year? The draft is in April but before that we have a chance to patch up some holes by getting some valuable guys in key positons. Look at last year with Cofield, Bowen, Chester and even (traded for) Gaffney. Any names pop out at you...
  6. RG3 will declare for draft

I don't see Cleveland trading up to get RG3. They will sit there at #4 and take the highest player on their board. That being said if RG3 is still on the board they WILL take him at #4. If we want RG3 I think the Vikings would be a good trade partner.
  7. PFT: Redskins Plan to Franchise Fred Davis

The salary of a player who is suspended still counts against the team's cap. The NFL gives the money to charity. Posted via BGO Mobile Device
  8. PFT: Redskins Plan to Franchise Fred Davis

Well said, I agree completely. I also think we will either draft/pick up another WR to go along with Hank, Gaffney and Moss but Fred is valuable no matter what.
  9. PFT: Redskins Plan to Franchise Fred Davis

I actually agree with the decision to franchise Davis. Landry would really be the only other option and since he can't stay healthy he is not worth franchising.
  10. The Peyton Manning discussion

http://www.csnwashington.com/blog/redskins-talk/post/Buzz-building-for-Manning-to-Redskins?blockID=647430&feedID=6458 Not a whole lot of new info here, but Peyton to the Skins is a big discussion. I still think we will be interested in Peyton but overall Peyton will choose to sign elsewhere.
  11. The Peyton Manning discussion

All do respect but I've got to disagree. I just don't think that Luck AND Griffin won't be successful because the top two QBs usually aren't is not a strong argument. You have to look at these guys as individuals and make a decision not base it on two other players that have nothing to do with...
  12. PFT: Redskins considering Peyton, Flynn, Orton

http://www.csnwashington.com/blog/redskins-talk/post/Sources-Redskins-eye-Orton-not-Flynn?blockID=645358&feedID=6355 You got to love the offseason!!!
  13. PFT: Redskins considering Peyton, Flynn, Orton

It seems like the Giants are one of those teams that take the guy that slips in the draft. Posted via BGO Mobile Device
  14. The Peyton Manning discussion

The Giants gave up Rivers (the #4 overall selection) a 3rd round pick and then the 1st and 5th rounders of the next year. If we could trade up and get Griffin for our first and third rounders this year and our first and fifth next year, I would do that deal in a second. The question is, will...
  15. The Peyton Manning discussion

Well, I am very much an amateur scout but from what I see Luck and Griffin are both going to really good NFL quarterbacks. I guess one could make a case that if Griffin goes to Cleveland he could struggle because... well it's Cleveland but he could also be the new Lebron. Posted via BGO Mobile...
  16. PFT: Redskins considering Peyton, Flynn, Orton

It sounds like Peyton is going to structure a deal without a lot of money upfront so a team will sign him quickly. Manning should be signed with whoever he goes too before free agency starts. If he ends up in Miami then we could make a play for Flynn...
  17. PFT: Redskins considering Peyton, Flynn, Orton

    I agree with that logic.
  18. PFT: Redskins considering Peyton, Flynn, Orton

I'd say they are going to put there eggs in the RG3 basket. Posted via BGO Mobile Device
  19. PFT: Redskins considering Peyton, Flynn, Orton

My prediction is they end up with Flynn. I think Peyton goes to Miami leaving us to sign Flynn. Posted via BGO Mobile Device
  20. The Peyton Manning discussion

The 2004 Draft was filled with Quarterbacks! Eli Manning at #1, Rivers at #4 and Big Ben at #11 were the first three QB's that year. Schaub was a 3rd round pick that year too. As far as more recent the case can be made for 2008. Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco neither one have proven that they are...
