I'm not happy with Hall's shortcommings Bill. I wish he was a complete player like #28. I really do.
At this point though I don't think our problems like with a guy that makes some plays for a unit that is, or at least can be, pretty competitive. Every mistake made by the defense is...
I really hope we don't have a lot of 3 win seasons in front of us.
I still believe this defense has the pieces to be playoff caliber. Some schematic adjustments and addititions (i.e. FS, SAM) need to be made but overall I think this can be a competitive unit for the next 2-3 years.
It is...
I'm pissed at Hall for that play.
However, I agree with Boone. Hall brings a play making ability to the secondary that no one else back there posesses. We need a guy with that skill set.
Unfortunately, he is also weak at the point of attack and not great at man-to-man. Ultimately I'm not...
Thought this was interesting in light of our earlier discussion.

I just received a few more texts and calls from league sources about the Mike Sellers-Clinton Portis incident, and this is not...
You are only tempted? Why draft a bunch of pass catchers when you have a giant question mark at QB and you don't have a line capable of supporting said QB?
I've NEVER been for this team acquiring WRs for these reasons....and that goes back to the Laverneous Coles/Taylor Jacobs acquisitions...
Clinton plays hard and has been productive. No question.
However, he is a devisive force on this team and despite his production over the years the offense still stinks. I'd be happier without his mouth and watch the offense continue to suck without him.
Not to quibble but he was a top 5...
I came here to post almost this exact same thing.
I'll add though that I don't think this team looks good enough to win even with decent production from Collins. The running game, outside of a decent day from Portis today, can't seem to get going and pass protection issues abound. I'd...
Would be nice to just get the mouth off of our team. But I'd take Champ.....who is (or at least was when he was a Redskin) overated by the way.
I'll take Yusuf's option.
Looking at this team objectively you have to think that most of the talent on hand is overated....or just lacking (i.e. o-line, qb).
However, I do think that with a good coach, that could motivate these guys (particularly on the defense) and get them ready to play, this could be a competitive...
I pretty much agree with this. Its painful to admit that our 1st round qb is probably a bust but the team just isn't showing anything with him behind center.
Collins isn't a long term answer....and may not even be a short term answer. But if Zorn wants to save his ass he has to do something.
Only if the team is ready to give up on the JC expirement. If they bench him it basically means his career here is over IMO. Not sure if that is a bad thing......
