Looks like the draft will be offense heavy! Need RB1, WR2 and an OC/G.

He lined up inside as a 3 tech on passing downs for the Chiefs and also saw snaps as a 5 tech and 7 tech. So very versatile. Can see him playing as 5 tech DE in base and moving inside as a 3 tech in nickel.

Oh for sure. I’m not just giving him away and I’d want at least something close to what the Ravens offered - I’m just not sure who else has the need/drafts picks and now cap space when big money has already been thrown around.

They have less leverage now they had when they did the deal with the Ravens. And the meniscus surgery was hardly a secret, the Ravens knew he’d had that and would not be fully fit for several weeks. This stinks - really poor on the part of the Ravens. The League should investigate really but...

Brutal for the Raiders who now have $30M back on their cap, two less first round draft picks and a no doubt highly pissed off player.

That Joe Gibbs era was built around a great 1981 draft. We also signed Joe Jacoby as an UDFA in 1981. Key 1981 Washington Selections: Round 1 (20): Mark May (T, Pittsburgh) Round 3 (69): Russ Grimm (C/G, Pittsburgh) Round 5 (119): Dexter Manley (DE, Oklahoma State) Round 5 (132): Gary Sayre...

Back then free agency was very very different. Hard to compare how teams where built in the 80’s with today’s NFL.

Not sure why you choose McLaurin and Ertz there - they actually are/were good. But he absolutely elevated the whole offense in his rookie season. I favored drafting Maye in the draft process but not by much. Recent bias says Maye will be rated higher right now nationally but I think both will...

You can and I would bet most teams do. Their BPA grade includes some element of positional grading based on their own roster.

We are not giving up the #7 overall for him and we don’t have a 2nd round pick. They will want more than a 3rd. Don’t see how we make that happen

Whatever the actual effective number I think we can conclude we have plenty of cap space available!

Tate or Lemon. I’m not on the draft Love train. I get the appeal of adding an elite talent but I think you can get a productive back at a much lower draft cost. I’m still edge/LB/WR at the #7 pick.

Lack of quality spin bowling options for the middle overs and the opening partnership just didn’t click. 🙂

There was a reference by Keim on one of his pods (I think it was Keim) that they had given Coleman time at C in practice and liked him at that spot. It’s a big move from a guy who was drafted to play T and who didn’t lock down a G spot now being tried at C. They also have a gap at LG as well -...

So seems like we have needs/questions still at LG, C, RB1, TE1, WR2 - Edge (still for me), LB, CB and FS. A lot still to do. A lot.

Been away for while - busy with work! Dropped in to check in on free agent signings. Have to comment count me out on taking a back as high as #7 overall however dynamic. We have so many holes on D and a glaring need opposite Terry at WR. Edge or LB is still the most likely pick for me...

Official Game Thread - Week 4 - Commanders @ Falcons

Look at how the Cowboys use Lamb. He lines up in the slot a lot and goes vertical - but they move him around. Now Lane is not Lamb but he can be used in similar ways. As Terry, let’s say matures, his role is evolving into more of a chain mover who can also still threaten deep - adding another...
