On Aiyuk, I am fine waiting until 9/1. Once he gets cut, if he misses camp, I have doubt anyone gives him a 53 man contract off the bat. The Niners have deviated from consensus a ton the past few drafts. Warren Sharp did a breakdown of those picks on Saturday and the results have been horrible, especially as you go pick by pick. I believe no hits From a fan standpoint, I can’t get as mad at AP if guys like Josephs don’t work out...- method man

It is harder to find a good punt returner vs kick returner. The punt returner also has more value because the touchback goes so far out on kick returns- method man

Maybe guys like Brailsford were off their board entirely due to being center only. With Gulbin, he at least profiles as an Allegretti like backup who can play both guard positions and center. Will give him more time to develop because it is easier to carry him on the roster- method man

- Styles - Initially wasn’t a big fan of taking an off ball LB 7th overall. Thinking through it more, I guess the hack is that he lets you play a lot more base defense especially when we are in even fronts given his coverage ability.
