I can certainly agree CB is likely our most pressing need, but I also think this OL needs more than a developmental pick. If Cosmi were fully healthy perhaps I could be assuaged a bit but I'm not liking our depth at all. I think I'd still go OT or even look Ratledge's way with our first pick...
I guess it just boils down for me that I have less questions as to his overall ability than to the character stuff, but he could be easily another for sure.
These are some of the most polarizing prospects to me - not bad prospects - just ones' I'd personally take a hard gulp after selecting if my job were on the line as a GM in the first round.
Ashton Jeanty
Mykel Williams
Will Campbell
Tetairoa McMillan
Shemar Stewart
Luther Burden
Josh Simmons...
Carson is my LB#1 ever so slightly ahead of Jihaad whom I freaking love. Carson's ability to cover is the only reason - not just cover but blanket type coverage IMO.

Commanders
ESPN’s Adam Schefter mentions UCLA LB Carson Schwesinger as a potential dark horse first-round pick, with the Commanders a potential landing spot.
I think Scourton could be in play too. I think Dane was saying he was playing around 280lbs with the Aggies in 2024 and that robbed him of some explosiveness and apparently looked much better at his Pro Day
IMO, that'd be a mistake if Dart is on the board. While I've not watched the league with any regularity in years now, Carr would probably make my most overrated list of QB's. NO needs a new face of the franchise and I'd go Dart were the decision mine.
Esery is one. He's the next Blue Chip type OT outside of Membou and Conerly to my eyes and has surpassed both Simmons and Banks for me personally. I would not pass up the chance to get a legit starter at a prime position that can handle either side. I also think he has the highest ceiling of any...

I think we absolutely need to add a linebacker in the draft at some point or very least go the UDFA route. While there are several I like, I'd look closely at Auburn's Jalen McLeod plus the pass rush aspect he brings and I also really like Washington's Carson Bruener as a value pick.
Rapoport suggests that Ersery could make his way into the late first round, connecting him with the tackle-needy Chiefs. Ersery performed more consistently as a run-blocker than as a blindside pass protector over the last two seasons, but notably allowed just a 3.0 percent quarterback pressure...
Fun exercise but hard to lock one down I'm completely happy with.
Round 1: No. 29 overall - OT Aireontae Ersery
Round 2: No. 61 overall - CB Jacob Parrish
Round 4: No. 128 overall - Edge David Walker
Round 6: No. 205 overall - RB Ollie Gordon
Round 7: No. 245 overall - TE Joshua Simon
Stewart I heard could drop to the 3rd/4th range, which surprises me a bit. I've cooled a bit on Tyler Baron the more I watched. Jalen McLeod is garnering some attention. I liked him a lot when he played for App State OLB/Edge. He could be a good option for us too. BJ Green out of Colorado also...
