I mentioned this in a prior post but I am very much liking this year's NT-3-Tech-5-Tech DT class. I especially like the nose tackles. A prospect I really like that might fall into our laps at a bargain is Minnesota Golden Gopher NT Deven Eastern.
Also, Minnesota RB Darius Taylor will probably...
How I see it..
Top 25 RB's
Jeremiyah Love Notre Dame
Jadarian Price Notre Dame
Justice Haynes Michigan
Jonah Coleman Washington
Nick Singleton Penn State
Emmett Johnson Nebraska
Demond Claiborne Wake Forest *Ridiculous lateral ability
Kaytron Allen Penn State *Initially lower he has changed my...
You've referenced him throughout the thread for a while and I had no clue who this player was or how good he is having not looked at the S class yet. I'm sold. He'd be a great fit. He seems like one of those rare players that just loves the game and strives to get better all the time.
Here's how I'd rank them right now we'll see how things go in a few months.
Top 25 Edge
1. Reuben Bain Miami
2. David Bailey Texas Tech
3. TJ Parker Clemson
4. Damon Wilson II Missouri
5. Dani Dennis-Sutton Penn State
6. Romello Height Texas Tech
7. Cashius Howell Texas A&M
8. R. Mason Thomas...
Just wishing all the members here that share their wisdom of all things NFL Draft a very Merry Christmas! I sincerely appreciate this thread and allowing me a platform to be a fellow draft nerd :)
Some observations since I'm playing catchup:
*Arvell Reese Ohio State - he would likely be my #1...
I had to watch more of Rueben Bain because I was skeptical initially from the first few clips but after watching his play against Notre Dame, UCF & Florida - my opinion has changed. I do not like being contrarian for the sake of it and need to be convinced. I now see why he is regarded as the...
I think I'm going to concentrate on Edge considering that and WR are the most pressing needs for us - helps keep my OCD mind from going nutso :) This position is a pain in the butt since so many prospects can fall under the Edge/OLB umbrella so I'll break down the 43 DE - 5 Tech dudes separately...
I definitely do not want a Keon Coleman 2.0 with Fields. I don't have any subscriptions to sites such as PFF sometimes I can get a separation score with AI platforms though but not in the case of Fields. I've seen scouts comments of his separation ability as being good but not great - along...
This WR class looks good to me though still many unknowns as to who will go back to school etc.
Most polarizing for me and hard to pin down at this juncture:
Duce Robinson FSU
Zachariah Branch Georgia
Nyck Harbor South Carolina
Mekai Lemon USC
Somewhat under the radar types and prospects I...
I just see certain things as better with Price but would still take Love over him, though. This is how I see it thus far:
1. Love
2. Price
3. Coleman
4. Justice Haynes
I've watched quite a few WR's thus far. Malachi Fields Notre Dame has made an impression on me. I'm sure he's been mentioned and often already so just chiming in I'm a fan. I think he would be a terrific fit and weapon for us and big time help for Daniels.
It's a shame about Bell's torn ACL. He's definite top 5 for me. Maybe the injury and potential drop could help us draft him later for a bargain. I'd take the chance even with the injury I like him that much personally.
Kaytron Allen is my first real disagreement with the RB rankings thus far and the only one I'd put in the 'could be overrated' category for me. The biggest 'could be underrated' is Mike Washington Jr Arkansas and perhaps Jam Miller Alabama.
