I honestly did like Hankerson, but if I remember the poster you guys are referring to, I think he was going crazy over hankerson's hand size...which, if I remember correctly, were f'n massive. proportionally as massive as bain's arms are stubs.

    The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

so which center are we hoping for? I assume there is a better chance for a center to be a starter than a DB drafted at this point.

but Connerly was considered a project because he was so young and needed to add some strength for a few years...but this is where the magic of what you want to see happens. if Connerly becomes viable at the left tackle position in a year or two, we can trade Tunsil or let him go and net a 3rd...

fair enough, but Houston and their D might be making it....but I dunno about CJ though. I think he was pretty beaten up last year. Jayden was injured too, but that happened more on runs than complete pass protection breakdowns.

so you admit that 6th and 7th round picks have low probability of making it in the NFL. yet you think a team will give up a 4th round pick for a couple 10% chance picks. makes sense.

    The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

i've already stated they wasted some draft capital on some bad trades. one of them was for Tunsil and we lost significant capital from that for 2 years in a row...but I'd say it was worth it. so there is very little capital to work with and if someone is not willing to give us a good trade offer...

you aren't just judging by results though. you are getting your jimmies rustled by fairy tales you've made up in your mind about what you think they are doing during the draft and off-season.

I mean I can't help it if you are just going to make assumptions and hold to them without evidence. irrationality is not a position I can argue against.

    The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

you don't know what he's tried and what he hasn't. you aren't privy to the phone calls or whatever. they are also not operating with the same draft resources. part of that was his fault with his bad lattimore trade and iffy Deebo trade. that criticism is fair. I think it's a bit unfair to...

    The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

yeah, I agree. but I don't think it's a pattern. at least I haven't seen evidence of a pattern being formed other than doing a lot of deals with SF and former SF players and RAS scores.

yeah, but that would be like me giving rivera credit for a hand in winning the Gibbs Superbowls. I think AP made some bad moves thinking we were closer than we are but I think he's shown more of a willingness to let talent/value drop to us than not. that's all he's done since last year and this...

    The 2026 Draft Thread - Day 3

lattimore was a bad move. I didn't like it then and tried to be positive about it...but it was obviously a bad move. I'm meh on the trade for Deebo. I would've been okay if we didn't trade for him. as far as Tunsil, you do that trade every time. the Tunsil trade, alone, has reduced our draft...
