I thought that if blough got the OC job, it would be more likely at the last minute when higher priority candidates left the hiring pool. coming from complete ignorance about blough, I think I'm happier with him than some of the other names that were floated...

    while his resume is thin, I wouldn't hold his college and pro records against him. if being a good college and pro athlete always translated to greatness in coaching we wouldn't have so many failures. if anything, the QBs that never got a shot in college or the pros seem to make up the majority...

    I dunno how to feel about Kliff, I don't think it's a catastrophic loss...but, at least, it's nice to see loyalty get in the way of getting rid of Whitt. loyalty let him stay calling plays too long, but at least it didn't go further.
