He was kind of freaking out before the snap there so I think somebody was probably lined up wrong. Whatever though, that throw he made on the play was pure ass.
I wanted to make a joke about not settling on something but I just couldn’t figure it out…. I feel ashamed that was pretty set up and I couldn’t hit it….
I have a feeling Hartman paid the guy that gave up the ball so Cadillacmanis wouldn’t have the chance to take the offense down the field for the game-winning TD. Sneaky Sam
Why? It prevents either from getting into a rhythm, you’d never do this in a game.
I get that a backup needs to be able to come in cold. But neither of them are the slated main backup, the goal should be developing them (obviously Hartman can’t be developed, I’m mainly salty about AK going in and out for no reason)
I don't know that you can win a game in the second preseason game, but I think the combo of Athan doing well and Hartman falling short makes the decision on QB 3 really easy. Hartman seemed to feel it too. Twice he slammed his helmet in frustration at his own play.

Because that way you eliminate an excuse. If Hartman played the first half and sucked and Athan comes in in the second half then the argument that the play difference was about level of competition comes into play. This way, it's apples vs. apples.
I think Henry made an argument for him being on the practice squad today. The bad special teams play really hurt him. Not sure how much chance he or any running back had with that line blocking.

TJ making some plays. Love to see it. I thought JJB also made an impact. I was hoping for Drake Jackson to establish himself in this camp but it looks like TJ and JJB have beat him out. Also thought that Medrano has improved. Looks like he has bulked up and his tackling has improved.
