Official Game Thread - Preseason Week 2 - Commander @ Lions

And it's frightening that we are counting on him when he has never really been that great.
For sure. His best position was suppose to be G and he didn't prove real good there

Who started at C Bad-Jones or Gublin?

Well, that’s not so good. Joseph bit on the fake. Something to work on for the rookie.

Tunsil going down is a real problem. No getting around it
It weakened 2 positions at once:

He’s a top 5 LT, so whoever plays LT is not going to be as good.

Coleman was winning the competition with Paul, and is probably (almost certainly) better than Paul at Guard.

I don’t put this on Peters. Center, ok, whatever. But he had built a really good, deep OL with a top 5 LT, good, promising young RT, stud RG, and probably a good LG, with good depth (Paul, Wylie, Trent Scott).

One bad luck injury and the whole thing falls apart. And Tunsil is generally not an injury concern.

Early 1st Quarter thoughts.

Wash o line looks shaky
Defense needs to work on the run. Not freaked out about QB razzle dazzle run. Not a preseason play.

I’m not sure I know who Renolds is…
