It's possible that, just by chance, the precision passes are disproportionately going Sainristil's direction — the poor guy is draped on the receiver but losing by inches, even when he's in the right spot positionally. Meanwhile, Rasul Douglas has had some fortunate bounces where Jayden just isn't targeting his side as much.
You never know. But from my experience at camp, you'd have to be pretty dense not to pick up on that kind of thing. You can watch a corner draped on a WR and still get beat because the QB's accuracy is just that precise — it's not hard to spot a corner getting smoked. As I've mentioned before, the two easiest positions to judge from camp are WR and CB — though the chicken-and-egg problem is real: are the WRs making the CBs look good, or is it the other way around?
As for the Sainristil defense Logan brought up on the podcast — he didn't push back on Grant's observation directly, but suggested Sainristil might just be more exposed depending on which defensive looks they're running.
