Hopefully it will be fine. But my bitch all along wasn’t that they decided they could do better at center than Biadasz but that they released a former starter outright. Some will argue they were doing him a ‘solid’ but you do t prioritize doing players favors over your own roster stability. Letting him walk after he was good enough to start for you for several seasons - I’m sorry, but that’s just poor decision-making.

I'm with you. There were a few of us that were very harsh about the decision to release him the way they did. They should have had his replacement already signed prior to making Biadasz available for trade. I know they said they offered him up to other teams but that whole sequence of events has never set right with me. You know they didn't just plan on Allegretti being thee starter after they pushed hard for Linderbaum

  • Sinnott had a mixed day with two drops -- one coming on a perfect pass from Jayden Daniels into a narrow window. But Sinnott also made multiple catches.
  • One area Daniels has excelled at: getting through his progression in time so if he dumps the ball to his checkdown, that player has room to run. It happened again today with running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt.
  • Linebacker Sonny Styles showed his length and speed. He broke up one pass in zone, using his long arms to close on the ball. Another time he flashed to the area where the ball was thrown. Had there been live hitting, he would have hit the target as the ball arrived.

I was initially OK with it but thought they'd sign a veteran center to compete. Now that they haven't and doesn't seem like they will -- it looks like a misguided move.

Many good things in these two lines.

Daniels working well with progressions and check downs along with getting rid of it well timing wise.

Also Bill as a receiver. I love the idea of getting him the ball in the open field. Just need him to hold onto the ball and have his pass pro assignments down.

According to Keim the issue with Croskey and the passing game isn't his hands, but knowing how to run routes.

I've been to four Gordon Ramsay restaurants:
- Gordon Ramsay Steak in Paris Las Vegas
- Hell's Kitchen, DC Waterfront
- GR Fish and Chips DC Waterfront
- Don't know what it was called, but he had a pub in London, and we went there. It has since closed.

Never a bad meal. Had the welly both at Steak and Hell's Kitchen. The one at Steak was perfect, the one at Hell's Kitchen was a little over, so I really wanted to send it back and have somebody throw a tantrum. But Gordon wasn't there, so I just ate it. And it was fine. When I say over, I like Medium Rare, it was probably Medium minus, so really close.

The chicken pot pie we had at the tavern was absolutely amazing.

One thing to note, he's started doing something in his restaurants which I don't love: He is charging a 10-12% service charge which is split between the entire staff, and then the server tells you if you want to tip them, it's on top of that. That's on top of pretty pricey meal prices. And then there's the DC tax, so you end up walking out of there at 40-45% tax + tip, and that's a bit nuts. So watch out of that. They do disclose it, which is good. I don't know if it's the same in England. But that's the way it was at Hell's Kitchen last year.

A whole bunch have also mentioned pass protection at different times.

If you can't pass protect, you can't play on passing downs. It's really that simple. You'll get your QB killed.

For me; Hells Kitchen in Vegas and Hells Kitchen DC Waterfront. Had the Wellington both times. Yeah I'll watch out for the tip process, that seems excessive,

Headed to London for the game against the Colts and noticed he has a ron of restaurants sprinkled across the city so I'll likely hit one

Agree. I get the sense that Croskey-Meritt isn't the best with the mental side of the game -- whereas Rachaad White is. And it might be a reason why White wins the job or its almost an even split. White isn't an explosive runner. But he can run routes and he is a good pass protector.

Bill's first real test in this regards will be in the intrasquad scrimmages. We'll see how much better he has gotten at pass pro there and during the preseason. For now, I'm going to take heart that we have now gotten multiple reports that he has made positive plays in the passing game.

I’ve heard the same, and I know they’re working out centers and experimenting with Coleman in the position (who I believe played every spot on the line except C in college).

With this, I’m left wondering what happened to Matt Gulbin. I thought he was a pretty good C prospect, and you would think this would be a great opportunity for him, but I haven’t heard his name at all since Allegretti got injured.

I personally didn’t mind cutting Biadasz. I’m much more frustrated that they didn’t even bring in another vet to compete with him. Just relying on JGG and a 6th round rookie was a bad plan.

So I think my fuming is a little further downstream than your fuming. And I get that they went after Lindy. But when that failed there was no plan B.

And whenever you have depth issues at a position, that depth will inevitably be tested.

I’ve said I thought White would be the starter and get the majority of the snaps but not necessarily the majority of the carries.

The one thing I will say about Bill is it’s possible since he missed an entire year, there was some amnesia, and it was going to take a bit for him to get back into the groove. And when that groove is 90% more complex, I can see how that would be a challenge.

So we’ll see. If he can figure out how to get on the field in more situations where they can pass, that’s good.

Also, I do think the scheme will benefit his play time. If they are under center and run a lot of play action, the RB’s first job is to carry out the fake.

And then under normal circumstances, the ball is out before he has to get to either of his other jobs which would be as an outlet or pick up a block.

So that might help Bill also.

That’s what’s irritating though, they could’ve waited to cut him until they had a replacement lined up, as many teams do. I understand wanting to be good to our guys but not at the expense of potential stability at such an important position for your young QB. I know Biadasz isn’t what they wanted and couldn’t apparently carry the mental load in this new scheme, but you know he’s functional if not ideal. It was just an unnecessary risk that immediately looked dumb and was tested the first damn day of training camp lol.
